Microsoft and bitcoin, it will happen sooner than we imagine.

The bitcoin is breaking record highs right now, as at the time of writing it is trading around $51,160 and its capitalization is very close to reach the trillion dollar mark, Moreover BTC is in the sights of banking and financial institutions due to its exponential growth against fiat currencies.

For example, SynBiotic SE, a German cannabis company, announced that it will follow in the footsteps of Tesla and Microstrategy.
to cope with the devaluation of the euro. And just like this German company, many more are doing the same, due to a legitimate concern about a massive devaluation of Fiat currencies and the enormous confidence that cryptocurrencies have as opposed to money controlled and issued uncontrollably by politicians.

And because these statements are becoming more and more common, they have made many people wonder if the world's top companies will also do their part and adopt bitcoin. And although some have spoken out about it and have adopted bitcoin in some form, there are others that have not commented on it.

Microsoft president Brad Smith was recently interviewed on the Julia Chaterrley show and asked if Microsoft has plans to follow in Tesla's footsteps and acquire bitcoin for the company's balance sheet and the answer Mr. Smith gave was:

I haven't heard any new talk about bitcoin. But let me tell you, if we change our bitcoin investment policy, Julia, you'll be the first or at least the second to know.

But this far from disappointing, these statements give an air of hope about the adoption of cryptocurrencies by the most important companies in the world, I say this mainly because of all this that is happening with the global economy that directly affects these large companies and bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies offer an excellent respite. We can also notice that Microsoft is making many moves to avoid the crisis that will later come to light.

This I think they are doing so because Microsoft is watching their backs at all costs to avoid making outrageous comments that can influence in a negative or positive way the market, as many times elon has been criticized for posting comments on Twitter that inflate the prices of cryptocurrencies or company shares.

But whatever Microsoft is planning what we do know is that eventually Microsoft and all other companies will continue to join the bitcoin, the reasons are very obvious we have the devaluation of hard currencies such as the dollar and the euro is also the great growth that is taking bitcoin And as it is reaching new record highs will be more and more interest from institutional investors companies.

So I can say that Microsoft is not far away from adopting bitcoin.

But what do you think?

I think most of the worlds tech companies are going to get in to some degree at some point. They're almost going to have to in order to keep up with their competition. Although I hear about all the US companies getting in, I would be interested to hear about when big companies from other parts of the world announce it. If you're from outside the US, I would be very interested to hear when these companies make news. SynBioticSE, for example, is someone I wouldn't hear about here. If you could give some context to these companies coming in that would be great. How big they are...how much they're purportedly buying...industry they're in...etc.

Thank you!

Nice! Yes, I think a lot of the crypto people here will be interested to hear when "big" companies from other countries are buying. It just gives everyone that much more confidence.
