Yea its the best part about the linear rewards curve on LeoFinance. Because of this, people aren't left out and voting comments is just as rewarding as voting posts. I think the engagement will prove that we are a strong community and it will encourage more people to participate.

I still don't understand the different rewards curve yet but I have heard that Linear Rewards are quite lucrative for most people out there. And you are absolutely right, Engagement is the key to the success of ANY social media platform!

Basically the earlier you vote the more rewards you get in the normal curve. When its linear, everyone gets the same amount no matter when they vote and there isn't any cutoff for rewards.

Thanks for the simple explanation @jfang003. Makes sense! I think Hive follows the normal curve, right? Which might change a bit in the next HF.

Yes but it won't be exactly linear like LEO and CTP. Instead the people in the first day get the biggest cut and everyone else that follows get smaller cuts.

Got it so the curation window to get max rewards will be 24 hours. Is it 30 minutes right now?
No during the first 5 minutes, you lose curation rewards proportional to how fast you vote. If you vote 4 minutes after, you lose 20%, 3 minutes, 40% and onwards. After 5 minutes, then everyone after you adds to your initial vote.
