This all sounds very exciting to me. I was never involved in SPI nor even knew what it was about, although I was already around on Steem when it launched back then. I am now in a much better position to actually invest into a project like this with my LEO holdings and I am already buying more LEO every day for that.

What kind of investments are you looking for to make LBI generate passive income, besides posting on LEO itself and buying its miners? Other tribe tokens? Hive? Hive Games like Splinterlands and dCity? Steem? Other cryptos? DEFI? Precious metals via backed crypto assets? Stocks? Go with the flow?

Regarding the ownership of the LBI account, will there be a team on multiple continents holding the keys in a trust account or two guys living in Philadelphia like Splinterlands? How would this project survive a potential World War (people tend to say we would have others problems then but planning long term should look beyond that as well)?

What qualities are you looking for in terms of content team? Are there other ways to get involved, besides content creation and buying LBI?

righto, you have a few questions, let me try my best to answer them for you.

The investments we would be going into apart of LEO related stuff will be pretty much everything you named above. Games will prob be one the first things we look into but as for completely non HIVE assets, i have to be honest and say, we'll go with the flow. Markets cycles take a long time and that's going to be our flow. Any off-platform investments will only be into time served are things with a proven history and if possible on a platform that has been regulated.

Your next questions asks about fund ownership. The private keys for lbi-token will be shared. Im gonna ask someone that's a LEO higher up but they might say no. My back up plan is to split each key into 3/4 pieces and share those 3/4 pieces will 3/4 different people. Should i get hit by a bus, token holders will have access to their funds.

We've got 3 people for the content already so maybe 1 more, I find smaller groups work well together and we'll produce more idea's and mini-projects compared to a bigger group were 1 person people are normally in charge. As for other ways, sky is the limit!! Whatever you can think of. I said we'll be looking into games but we'll need players. LBI can fund the money required and the profits would be on the profit split between LBI and player. Another person could do curation for 5-8 non LEO tribes, again on a profit split. Someone else could set and maintain a discord server, are run weekly LBI groups buys from there personal account. There's lots of stuff need doing :) Think whats missing from LBI? think of a way to get that and then act on it.
