hahahaha... I like the Danube a lot, but mosquitos are the only bad side of having a town situated on the river bank... :)

The river bank is actually ok regarding mosquitos and other annoying insects. The Danube Delta is the next level, if you ever go there. It's also very beautiful.

It would be nice to visit the Danube Delta... I was only once in Romania, and it was only to catch the plane in Timisoara... I hope that I will have a chance to visit it in the future...
