Budapest will have the first statue of Satoshi Nakamoto

The city, capital of Hungary, Budapest will be the first city (as far as we know) to have a statue to honor the founder of Bitcoin - Satoshi Nakamoto.

The statue which will be made life-size financed by the community will be located in Graphisoft Park.

But for those who are finding the news strange due to the fact that there is no way to create a statue of someone who no one knows who he is. Since Satoshi is a pseudonym of one or group of people who created bitcoin and all the technology that came after that and that allows us to be here today. But, the creator of this idea did not think it was a bad fact and wants to pay homage to exactly this fact of everything that Satoshi has brought since then.

The statue will feature an aluminum bronze bust of a "hooded" person who refers to the people on the internet and the unknown creator. In the face part it will be very well polished to be able to reflect like a mirror the people looking at and giving the illusion that everyone is "Satoshi".

For me, I thought the idea and creativity of the statue was brilliant, because it made Satoshi look like an illusion and reflected the face of those who looked at it. Despite he or they have created, today bitcoin has all this strength due to our work that we believe in this currency and we are every time investing and supporting the technologies behind it. Finally, Hungary is one of the countries that I want to get to know in my life, especially watching an F1 race at the Hungaroring racecourse which is just 19km from the capital Budapest. I hope one day I'll be there, taking a picture with this statue and remembering this post in a future post about another goal/dream achieved!

A cidade, capital da Hungria, Budapeste será a primeira cidade (até onde sabemos) a ter uma estátua para homenagear o fundador do Bitcoin - Satoshi Nakamoto.

A estátua que será feito em tamanho real financiada por parte da comunidade ficará localizada em Graphisoft Park.

Mas, para quem está achando estranho a notícia pelo fato que não tem como criar uma estátua de alguém que ninguém sabe quem é. Já que Satoshi é um pseudônimo de uma ou grupo de pessoas que criou o bitcoin e toda a tecnologia que veio depois disso e que nos permite hoje estarmos aqui. Mas, o idealizador dessa ideia não achou ruim o fato e quer homenagear exatamente por esse fato de tudo que Satoshi trouxe desde então.

A estátua terá um busto de bronze alumínio de uma pessoa "encapuzada" que se refere ao povo na internet e ao criador desconhecido. Na parte do rosto ela será muito bem polida para poder refletir como um espelho as pessoas que olharem e dando a ilusão que todos são "Satoshi".

Para mim, achei a ideia e a criatividade da estátua genial, pelo fato de fazer ilusão ao Satoshi e refletir o rosto de quem olhar. Apesar dele ou deles terem criado, hoje o bitcoin tem esssa força toda devida aos nossos trabalhos que acreditamos nessa moeda e estamos a cada tempo investindo e apoiando as tecnologias por trás disso. Por fim, Hungria é um dos países que eu quero poder conhecer ainda na minha vida, principalmente assistir uma corrida de F1 no autódromo de Hungaroring que fica apenas 19km da capital Budapeste. Espero um dia eu estar lá, tirando uma foto com essa estátua e relembrando esse post em um post futuro de mais uma meta/sonho conquistado!
