#MyHiveGoals for 2023: Keep Building!

I was almost tempted to not set any Hive goals for the year and just go with the flow of things but it felt like I'd be a drifter which didn't sound right so had to push myself and make at least one. And here's to record them on-chain, to have something to kick me in the arse if ever I'd be feeling lazy, lol! I know putting them here pushes me to be more intentional and accountable.

15,000 Hive Power

The previous year had been generally good that I was able to reach my initial Hive Power goal and bumping it up a couple of times then finally hitting the 7k HP mark in December. It felt nice being able to go beyond my own expectations. So this year, the plan is to continue to build that stack to at least 15k HP.

At the time of this writing, my account is sitting at 7,717 HP.

15,000 - 7717 = 7,283 HP to work on

That means needing at least 21 HP per day to reach the target. My post rewards are averaging about 5-10 HP and obviously, I have no control over that so I would have to find other ways to come up with additional HIVE to power up.

And to keep me motivated on growing my HP, I plan to maintain my participation on the HPUD and Hive Power Up Month (HPUM). I always appreciate the HP delegation from HiveBuzz every month. They do help increase my curation rewards.

15,000 Leo Power

I have mentioned previously that I don't want to be a cub forever and I'd like to grow and become a Lion in the LeoFinance community based on the Discord roles. That is to have at least 15k Leo Power by the end of 2023. My accounts (this and my alt) currently have 7,536 LP so:

15,000 - 7,536 = 7,464 LP to work on

That means needing 622 LEO to be powered up every month. With my HP delegation to @leo.voter paying out a little over 5 LEO each day, 150 LEO a month is guaranteed (that is if the price of the token won't change significantly) then I would have to make sure to accumulate or buy the balance of around 471 LEO each month.

500 HBD Savings

The price of HIVE made me adjust my goal on this last year so I don't have much on my HBD Savings vault. This year, I would like to have at least 500 on it, so:

500 - 67 = 434 HBD to work on

meaning, I need to save at least 1.20 HBD a day which is quite achievable although it is often irresistible to use it and buy $HIVE instead especially with the current price.

There goes my 3 major Hive goals for the next 12 months. I have other token goals in mind but they are minor ones and I plan on growing them organically so I decided not to include them here. Will be doing this #MyHiveGoals summary probably on a bi-monthly basis to track my progress and to see what measures or strategies I will have to employ to reach my targets for the year.

Kayanin sis by hook or by crook, lol! Set pa rin tayo ng goal, ma-reach man or hindi, at least something's going to push us kung feeling tinatamad tayo hihi.

I also have some goals for hive but at the current time, I can't fully concentrate on writing on regular basis. I think I will be able to make it soon. But still, you can give me some suggestions.

Thank you lots! With regards to writing or posting regularly, maybe you need to set a time when you feel most comfortable and freer to publish your post daily. I always do it in the morning because it's when my mind seems to work better. Maybe you can draft some posts which you can easily edit and post in days where you are busy.

I am fair chuffed you have set your six months goals CJ!
Hehe with the price of hive and how you did last year, you will know those out of the park really easy and have them well before the end of the year.
The HBD one, are you doing the 365 savers plan that will give you 667 HBD, I started in December as part of the Saturday Savers to see if I could do something everyday and I managed it, so am going to do that.
Anyways joking aside well done for this and I might steal borrow the concept and do the same post from here, as tomorrow I have my full Saturday savers goals post from tengolotodo.leo to write

It would be awesome when they can be ticked off in 6 months, Tito Ed! I'm actually doubtful about the HBD because it's tempting to just keep using it to buy HIVE at the current prices, lol! We shall see how it is going to be but we'll keep working towards them.

I read yours and I'm super duper impressed! Will be looking forward to your Saturday Savers post. I will have to make one too on my alt.

Yes the hardest thing is not using HBD to buy things with 🤣🤣
