You Will Never Take Hive (or Crypto) Serious Unless....

I have been inactive on Hive for almost a month now trying to do some other projects on the outside of Hive and a lot has happened In the crypto space in this last month.

The crypto prices have plunged to not so good prices whereby Bitcoin is now sitting in the $30K zone.

As you can see from the title of this post, there is something I Knew, but just confirmed these last weeks here.

In these last weeks, I have been so much in the physical world than the online world!! What I mean is that I spent so much time away from my Laptop and was more engaged in normal day to day life!!

The laptop life favours me because I am an introvert!!!

You Will Never Take Hive Serious Unless You See What is Happening in the outside Life

What do I mean by the outside life, you might be asking yourself this question? I will answer that shortly.

When I say the outside life, I mean the life outside of the laptop life(of crypto trading, crypto blogging etc).
I mean the life normal people live, I am sounding like we in crypto are not normal people hahaha.

Anyway, the truth is that the outside life for an average person is tough especially for us Africans, I say this because I am one.

People put in so much effort to earn a penny in the real world, it is tough especially when you do not have a specialized education(Bachelor's degree).

It is really tough since you have to do so much manual work to earn $3-5 a day.

In this last week, I was helping a friend in his furniture/carpentry shop do some small tasks as shown by the pics of me in this post.

It is by doing these small tasks that I realized we are blessed to be in Hive or Crypto in general. I will never take Hive ever again for granted or spend a week without posting here however tight my schedule might be.

I did simple things like applying undercoat paint to timber as shown below.

This work is not tiresome, but I had to do it under the hot sun.
There were other folks also in the workshop who were doing the harder work!!

I am not employed here, so I have the luxury of not working hard, I just go and help out like for only 2-3 hours unless the employed folks here who spend over 10 hours at work.

It is this last week after trying out this manual labour that I realized that Hive(or crypto) is so easy.

You will never take crypto serious unless you go out in the real world(outside the laptop) and see and observe the type of work people do to earn $3-5 daily.

You will appreciate Hive or crypto in general after observing what happens out there or even better still by actively participating in these manual activities.

Now do not get me wrong, the owner of the shop makes a considerable amount of money, but how many people have the luxury to own such a place??

Shit is tight especially here in Africa where there are high levels of unemployment and also underemployment whereby crypto can be an alternative.

People should really realize that Crypto especially Hive is a great alternative to the harsh employment world out there.

The beauty with Hive is that you do not need any special education to earn!! All you need is an internet connection and a creative mind and boom you are good to go.

My country Uganda has again been put into a mini lockdown whereby schools/universities have been closed for 42 days hence many people are now home.

I will try hard to again promote Hive to these many folks and see how I can help them get started here, though many of the people are sceptical of crypto because of bad previous bad experiences(scams)!!
