It has always been a long-term investment for me. I like the idea that its value will go up with time even if I do nothing. This is why I don't mind letting the account grow because it will be better in the long term. If we pay out dividends now, then it just means you get some short-term gains but after a while, you will get back more in dividends in around a year. This is because the starting line of the dividends has changed.

With paying out dividends now the account will continue to grow, but much slower ... and the dividends are not that high to start with. If we can delay one more time, we all will benefit from that. More earning for LBI is a higher dividend payout in the end.
