Let's say I have few bucks in ETH on MetaMask, will I be able to send them via LeoBridge and not to pay those network fees?

I don't think it will be possible to do it that cheaply from the ETH level. It seems to me that you will need some kind of contract approval to confirm which of course might generates quite high fee cost.
That's what I thought. I don't think this bridge will become an invention like fire or wheel
