Should auto vote feature be restricted on Hive and/or its communities?

Auto voting on HIVE is a debate we all are accustomed with and thinking about it I wonder if this is a good mechanism for the platform. There are other competing blockchains similar to Hive which have restricted this aiming for more engagement from its members. Having this such cases, let's try to answer the question nowadays...

I would restrict it as I am not a fan of automation at all. I believe in organic growth, engagement, diversification and DIYs... and I'd like to see more of those on Hive. Auto votes and bots are two things that I hate the most about Hive.

I have similar view on it and saw other HIVE-like platforms restricting that from the get-go. That way I think it incentivizes more curation and with some other mechanism like linear curation maybe even manual curation.
