Why LEO or any other second layer tokens do not reward holders of LEO Power with APR%?

Hive has a mechanism through which 15% of the new tokens are awarded to holders of Hive Power. Second layer tokens through which also LEO doesn't have the same system thus the following question...

Why LEO or any other second layer tokens do not reward holders of LEO Power with APR%?

LEO Stakeholders can earn through curation (~25% APR) and in a week, they'll be able to earn by becoming an LP (30%+ APR)

Good to know this and nice returns considering that also the price is holding on and even expected to rise compared to HIVE or other tokens out there. A healthy economy so far and many good things to come.

There are some who do. IIRC @weedcash does.

It’s up to the creator to decide whether they want to reward holders with interest or not. I think they may argue that not doing such may stimulate more activity (through curation).
