Spending Without The Reflex Of Repercussions

avatar

I've had a busy 24-hours, virtually spending and well it was a feeling of putting money to good use. My main fear when spending is not having a justification for money spent or get back value in terms of utility or satisfaction and one other fear is not having enough after I'd spent. My personal finance is up-tight and sometimes I feel like I need to control my wants to suit into my desires and need. In my country prices of commodities are doing triple the prices and everyday you have new items skyrocket in prices without purpose, as a result of lack of price control.

People are always caught up with rethinking whatever monetary decision they are making and this is simply because ultimate satisfaction for minimal amount is key especially when people are left with many commodities have high costs. A lot of people who I know are trying to have the best value for their money (not that the naira itself accrues any sort of value) it's difficult to earn especially because of the alarming rate of unemployment and all and having a means to actually survive would mean having the right economic scope. People find themselves stuck in limbo especially with limited financial means and having needs to take care of and without proper discipline towards spending right that can easily slip into poverty.

I'm someone who would get a sense of satisfaction from knowing I've not just spent rightly but also purposefully, money is difficult to make, even in crypto, sometimes I augment my loss with the gains I'm making so I have set up my mind to be minimal, I don't tell myself that I have enough, this is because I don't, nevertheless a lot of people I know creates a sense of "plenty" around them when they're exposed to an unsteady means of income that might only last for a short time.

When I have money coming in, I check it's steadiness", this would enable me know whether i can raise the glasses or well, spend with caution. The plan is always to never get back to ground zero, this is a difficult place to be in. Some people fails to know where their ground zero is and because of this they can't seem to maintain an equilibrium, a certain level of correctness when they look at their spending charts.

I have been in ground zero, a place where you don't even have have enough to take care of your needs. This is why it's not advisable to be exposed to "plenty" and return back to scarcity as a result of ostentatiousness. This has led to many people to do questionable things. People want to maintain a certain kind of spending habit, the costliest food, and they're not even as hardworking as they spend. But like I said choices are eventually what takes people to the statuses they are financially iresspective of however big or small their cash flow is and this is why personal finance is important. Money will always be a commodity, sometimes we make it easy, sometimes we make it the hard way, this generally shouldn't determine how we spend it.

money is difficult to make

It definitely is but I don't know if that is true anymore with my government spending and giving out stimulus like crazy. Of course that doesn't include the devaluing of money since the stimulus isn't targeted and it goes to the lobbyist first. Unless people put that money to good use, it will only get cheaper so they should be working to find a consistent source of income.

Iresspective, money is still difficult to make in my opinion, I guess it depends on the county or the region because in my country here, the unemployment means people are fighting scarcity and inflation. This is totally deadly

Scarcity and inflation is happening everywhere but it isn't as big in the US because we are the world's reserve currency and people still have faith in the dollar.

Yeah you're right about this, I guess it all boils down to management and you know the government in Charge, the effects can be worse in many other countries, one's personal financial decision is necessary to helping them survive the biting and harsh economy. It's a different ball game in most African countries, I tell you

Spending with caution is a smart move. Not going beyond your capacity or hitting the rock bottom. That's one thing about me. I hate one thing, spending my last cash or having to be in a situation of nothing left. So I try so hard to think about whatever I want to spend money on, is it worth it?...

Spending your last card aka going back to ground zero, it's a place I'm scared of too, I'm glad you got the concept of what I meant.

I totally grab this and I am one person that hates going back to ground zero. I mean it was difficult to leave that level and going back is not gonna taste nice either.
In all thy saying, we should be calculative with our budgets and spendings.

Ground zero should always be at the back of our mind because it's a place we should try to avoid by any means. It's why I fear it so much and this fear helps me to be minimal.

It takes time and effort and money doesn't grow on trees. However by working hard but more importantly in the right areas and limiting spending you can quickly start reaching your goals. One super quick example right here on hive. The more you have the more you earn as it continues to compound in your account. Not only that but you earn curation and author rewards. Hitting all three of these areas is what makes Hive income skyrocket and yes it's pretty much a full time job. I spend most of my days here at the moment :)

That's actually true. You're spending more time on POB as well, this is great. I believe you're totally correct. I know a lot of people who don't strive to build their income and yet their level of expense is high, o guess being here has taught me better

Trying to spend my hours split up between a few tribes and focus some content around each of them where it fits. It's kind of a test but so far it's looking good!

The goal is never to go to ground zero!!! My brother this saying no be joke. I have been there and I do not wish anyone to be there. I pray God gives us the wisdom to always have ways to remain at points that can give us a cause to smile always. Cheers to a better future

You're exactly right, anyone that's been there wouldn't want to actually be there again, truth is, that's why we always need this discipline and prudence when it comes to money. Ground zero is total scarcity

It's definitely good to have some spending control but sometimes you gotta buy yourself what you like if you have the means. Life's not meant to be frugal all the time.

Yeah, that's true, I did that yesterday. Nevertheless a lot of people knows where I'm coming from and that downward spiral can be avoided.

You indeed read my mind about financial discipline, money is hard to make and any act of indiscipline during spending can take anyone back to that zero ground ( my worst fear). Sometimes I feel that even if I attain some level of financial stability I won't be able to spend extravagantly, in fact I can't considering how hard it is to make money 😂😂😂

Now you're getting it, I feel Nigeria itself isn't a country where one can afford to showcase extravaganncy at any cost even if you're wealthy. Being minimal comes at no cost and Someone scared of ground zero would be motivated to spend minimally
