The Thin Line Between Being, Stagnant, Comfortable & Insatiable.

No amount of money will ever be enough for any human being and that is why despite the likes of Jeff Bezos having all the billions they have, each and every week, they tussle amongst themselves as to who would stay on top as the richest, but then to what end? This means constantly everyone is chasing no Matter their positions on the standings, the people at the top are looking to attain heights that's no longer there.

they're already at the top of the food chain but they're chasing invisincibility, the people at the bottom are striving hard to change their positions, at least if they can't afford three square meals then at least they can afford two and not go hungry, the stage of human need is endless, people create different positions different patterns and constantly people are moving up and some others are going down, but who is counting?

Actually.. we are counting. See, we're not exactly competitive by nature, our instability makes us competitive, we are not exactly aiming to becoming the richest or wealthiest, sometimes the fear of slipping, the fear of going down is the reason why people aim for different positions.

Now stagnancy might not really be so bad, someone who is contended or tired of endlessly chasing might be stagnant, now the reason is because people like his peers, colleagues and acquaitances are shifting positions either by buying new cars and ditching their old ones, adding new houses to their collection or basically unlocking more contract and more money.

See the thing is, contentment can be taken for stagnancy and this is because not a lot of people in the world are contended. Sometimes a lot of people feel they have enough, think they have enough and value their work, but then instincts kick in, they begin to get calculative of absurd tendencies and as a result of this, the insecurity of not having enough despite having come to the conclusion they they have enough in the first place.

Nevertheless, a lot of people knows they don't have enough and this is enough reason to keep grinding. But then having more than enough is no more a stage in the scale of struggle, it's now a position. But then the truth is no one is wealthier then their minds thinks. The mind sometimes is often relentless

This is why a lot of people neglect things like family, living the best of their lives taking it one at a time in other to keep endlessly chasing. Some are of the opinion that they want to work so hard so much that they'll secure even the future of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren but then they even lose their immediate families, the love and closeness and the value of being a family, isn't this really ironical? I get it.

The feeling of loss and potential failure is why people grind at the expense of even enjoying the journey. They become too meagre and too frugal to themselves so much that they forget money isn't essential when it can't be spent. I always promote frugality but this is only because many struggling people live too much in the moment at the expense of their future. No! an equilibrium needs to be maintained.

Inasmuch as money is financial, human behaviour towards it isn't to be ignored. I use to say money in itself is just a piece of paper and the fact it's a legal tender and other things deepends on our behaviour towards it. Nevertheless, we are important, sometimes we take ourselves out of the mix and money become the only thing that's logical, nothing makes sense anymore. It feels like we're following the competition, the craze and the madness.

It is why we have created a Sense if baseless competition amongst ourselves. Created a list of who should be top and who should be bottom, meanwhile the main reason why we should be hustling is so we wouldn't have to lack. The world is changing, maybe it's the System of government, maybe it's human behaviour, but the ultimate reality is that money is nothing, when we cannot spend it in the first place.

At a certain level, your wealth is no longer about the actual dollars, but, about keeping score. There is no real difference in Bezos being worth 190 billion and 195 billion, his wealth is on paper. There is a difference in being worth 50 dollars more than Musk. Remember how many articles there were when Musk passed Bezos for a few weeks in total net worth?
