My Silver Collection 5 - The Canadian Lynx!

For this chapter of the series "My Silver Collection" I bring another of my coins dedicated to the animal world.

The Canadian Silver Lynx!

This 2017 coin is part of the second release in the Royal Canadian Mint's "Predator" series of silver coins. The design of the Lynx was made by the designer Emily S. Damstra.

The details on the lynx's fur are incredible.

I love the detail where you can see the front legs of the lynx breaking the line that separates the animal from where it reads "Fine Silver 1 Oz Argent Pur".

On the obverse of the coin is the image of Queen Elizabeth II created by the artist Susanna Blunt. This representation of 2003 is surrounded by engravings of his name, the face value of the coins, the phrase D.G. Regina and the year of issue of the coin.

From this Canadian Silver Lynx I bought 6 coins. I gave one to my son (of course) and another I gave to Eric, one of the founders of the Lince project (Lince means lynx in Spanish). It is a Spanish-speaking anti-plagiarism project.

I remember that I was able to give it to him in person at the second SteemFest in Portugal. A very nice experience!

I hope you liked my Canadian Silver Lynx and see you in the next coin!

Nice! I hope those are not milk spots!
But no matter what, it is silver!
Stack on, my friend!
