Hello @eddie-earner Hope you've had a good week. I know I have. I woke to find I'd won 1 SPI and 1 EDS from participating with the Saturday Savers Club. How awesome. Thank you for including me as a winner in the SPI Savings Challenge. Also, I appreciate the 1 EDS for my participation in the weekly comments and win in the WheelofNames. I've been lucky this week.

Why? Because I completed 100 DAYS OF SAVING with the Saturday Savers Club. Below is my post outlining my 15th week:

Also, congratulations to the the following:
@jfang003 for your top win in the SPI Savings Challenge.
@fruity-fruitz on your winning with me in the WheelofNames.
We're off to a good start for next week.

I'd also like to mention all participants in the Saturday Savers Club. You ROCK! and keep on saving.

This Week's Golden Pig Tip. What an interesting take of the savings plan to start large and work backwards. It sounds doable. However, I like the old fashioned way. Start small with the 1cent; 2cents; 3cents; etc. and work my way up. I'm not saying either way is the best one. It's just my preference. I never like to place all my savings eggs in one basket all at once.

Take care everyone until next week.

One hundred days of saving! That sounds so momentous! Congratulations 🙂.
I was fascinated by the backwards saving idea, but I wonder if it would work as well (imagine: 100 days of saving backwards) 😂. We need some testers to try it out in the future.

Hello @shanibeer Thank you so much for your encouragement and support during my time at Saturday Savers Club and through my 100 days.

Also, I believe one other Saturday Saver participants indicated a willingness to try it. I may do so too, but maybe on a smaller scale, say for instance a 100 days backwards. That would be an added task keeping up with it all.

IDEA

I love contests and challenges.

Why not I test it right now after my 100 days.

Save 100 days backwards, starting tomorrow on Week 16.

Would I start at .99cents since I saved 1.00 today?

That sounds brilliant! I could launch it next Saturday - 100 days of saving backwards! Let me think of a prize (as well as the little nest egg they will have saved)!

But start tomorrow. don't let me stop you, it would be so interesting to hear your reaction to saving backwards.

It took me from January 1 - April 10. Today was the 100th day. so approx. 3 1/2 months to complete.

I'd like to start tomorrow.

To break up the amount being saved. I can alternate.

100 days forward. COMPLETED

100 days backwards - starting tomorrow

100 days forward again - start after completion of backward somewhere around mid to end July.
