CUBLIFE (CL) - Weekly report #9

Hello, LBIer's and CLer's. Welcome to this weeks CUBLIFE (CL) token update. We are going to look at this week's CUB harvests, reinvestment and weekly dividend APY. This update post is released weekly, dividends are paid in LEO every Friday at 9 pm UTC and new CUBLIFE (CL) tokens are issued once per month every 21st.

What is CUBLIFE?
CUBLIFE (CL) in a nutshell is a hive-engine token dedicated to investing in CUBfinance that pays out weekly dividends in the form of LEO. All LEO/HIVE raised from monthly token issues is invested in CUBfinance. 50% of weekly harvests are converted to LEO and issued to CL token holders, 40% is reinvested back into the platform and 10% goes to LBI as an operators fee for maintaining and actively managing the wallet.

It has been another great week. We harvested a few less CUB but they are worth more compared to last week and LEO is about the same so this weeks dividend is a little higher than last week. I have decided that from next week we will start to set aside a few LEO each week to save up to 1000 BEE to enable staking of CL tokens. Staking gives users the option to offer auto compounding of CL tokens every week. You could stake 50% of your CL and receive both dividends and grow both your CL and LEO holdings at the same time.

This weeks 40% reinvestment money has been used to top up the BNB/ETH LP. I'd like this LP token to be sitting in at least 4 numbers before we move on to another one, probably the BTC kingdom next. Our 40% is worth between $120-$160 every week so 4-5 more weeks at a guess. Maybe next week if everything moons and doubles up, haha. We can't go wrong with ETH, even if it is only $500-600 worth, it's a start is what it is 😎

I am very happy that this APY of around 60-80% is holding up. Week 1 below was a 4 day week and going from week 2 onwards, we can see our lowest week's APY has been 68.92%. The fact that this was 4 weeks ago and it's not dropped under 70% is very comforting as, to be honest, I'd have expected it to sorta drop 5-10% each week are so as the TVL increases. Not complaining, it's the best-case scenario. I never dream it will increase to over 100% but we might hit a fluke week some week in the future if the price of CUB spikes to $2 or something.

This month's CL token issue
Every 21st of each month, new CL tokens are issued to those that have sent either HIVE or LEO to the @cublife before the end of the 20th. The month goes 21st-20th. If you send in funds on the 21st, you'll be waiting till next month. Conversions take place once per month on the 21st with new CL tokens being minted to the same value as the existing ones in circulation. There are 12 CL token issues per year.

You can transfer LEO/HIVE or HIVEp from hive-engine. If you send both LEO and HIVE, you will receive 2 token issues, 1 for each. You can confirm your funds have been received in the table below which are posted weekly and updated 2-3 times per week.

If you have sent funds before today and they do not appear above, please write in the comments below with a snapshot/trans ID and we'll get it fixed.

That's it for another week. Again we had a stable-ish week. Total holding is back into 5 numbers, let's hope we dont see 4 again after the next CL tokens are minted and issued on the 21st of every month. You can see above we have a few people already in for this month's token issue. Oh, did you see yesterdays post? it's a short video that shows and explains how to set up and cancel recurring payments. You know, you can set up a recurring payment to @cublife and be involved in every CL token issue. Would be an excellent way to convert some of your HIVE post/curation rewards into weekly LEO dividends. I mean, if you dont like getting loads of LEO sent to your account every Friday, that's cool... I guess. Just putting the idea out there and letting you fine folks know that @cublife is an excellent use case example for recurring payments on the HIVE Blockchain. I am honestly surprised this is not big news, it should be.
