I have no plans for black friday this year, I was never someone waiting for the one day of the year that I might catch something I want on sale. I have in the past taken advantage of some good deals on black friday but I really don't plan it out much. The one thing I know I wont be doing on black friday is going to the stores fighting the mobs trying to find deals. lol
In my country it seems that businesses were kind of forced to take over the black friday concept and I realized that not all offers are really that advantageous. Fortunately we don't see these mob fights in stores yet :-)

I literally own just 21 material possessions and at the moment I don't need anything urgently. So not buying anything for black Friday.
Buying more Hive engine tokens and some more crypto are something I'm planning to do in the near future.

I also try to live according to minimalistic standards. With a family it's a bit complicated to keep the number of things in check but I tend to buy only very few things a part from books. I can't be without them :-)

I'm thinking of buying a bigger TV to game on and donating my current one, a previous black Friday purchase, to another room.
My TV is 15 years old and it might be an idea to replace it as well :-)

I do not like crowds so do not go out to stores on Black Friday. I do my Black Friday shopping online. I have found technology items usually have the largest discounts on Black Friday. I will be hoping to get some Splinterlands cards to add to my collection power.
It would be nice if there were Black Friday discounts for Splinterlands Cards :-).

I do not have any specific plans for crypto but I'm going to buy a new sofa for my house 😅 By the way, we have witnessed some dumps in such days when we check the history. Maybe we really have a discount on crypto, as well :)
That's an interesting point. To finance their purchases maybe some people dump their crypto :-). A good sofa is always a good plan:-)

I don't usually buy myself anything, but I'll do some black Friday shopping for my friends and family. Since I would be buying those things anyway it's nice to save some money on them.

I don't think I will participate in the Black Friday stuff this year but I might be considering cyber monday if there are good deals online. However I guess it's just wait and see for me.

As someone said in the comments, usually before BF people are selling their tokens to cash out to buy physical goods... So, maybe that's a good time for us others to buy crypto on discounts... :) So, investing and not consuming... sounds good! :)

I hadn't even thought about it. It used not to be the case here, but for the last couple of years, it is really Black Friday as a kind of pressure on consumers. Well, for the previous ones I was the bank for the kids who wanted some gadgets, I mean some more technical devices... what do I know... maybe I would buy a new media player to take home, I have one of the first Xtreamer but lately, it doesn't recognize and stream content with the h.265 codec... maybe that... 😎 !LOL

I don't have any specific purchase plans. Usually prices seem to get raised up a lot, before being discounted for Black Friday sales, so it's usually not as great a deal as it looks. But, still hoping to maybe get some more Splinterlands cards at some point soon ;)
You are right about that! To avoid those cheats, I follow the prices in September and October to be prepared for November... lol...

I have never been really "big" on shopping, and "Black Friday" to me is a way to get you to go into debt over Christmas presents, which is against what Christmas is supposed to be all about in the first place. When I want or need something, I try to find the best deal I can and search for it before I buy something. I am also not much of a "people person" so the crowds on Black Friday are not something I want to deal with either. Not sure if this is very helpful to your challenge, but I wanted to participate in your challenge anyway. Have a great day!

Oh for sure! I do admit I look for deals on tools and stuff that we need for the house in the black Friday sales. As for Christmas, that is a holiday I try to go out and do something, preferably charitable, with my loved ones on. I think this year Nancy and I are going to go to the local rescue mission and help feed the people unfortunate to be there. I buy gifts more for birthdays to celebrate them being here and just randomly throughout the year. Christmas to me is for remembering who Jesus is and why He came more than anything else.
@nobutsd1974 The King agrees with the Christmas shopping placing families in debt. That added stress of being in debt is counterproductive to the Spirit of Christmas, which was intended to be a joyous season based upon the birth of Jesus.

I've never really been a big participant in Black Friday. I usually make my purchases based on need and I save for them or buy used to save on the purchase.
The idea of rushing to buy something to save a buck just stresses me out.
I do like the idea of getting some more crypto though :) I'm exploring what you're up to and maybe I should get some LENM! :)
You are right about that and it should be like that for everyone... I do the same with the only difference that sometimes I do wait for BF to buy those "needed stuff" for a better price... Why not if there is an opportunity?
