Reaching stability for the LEN token

For the third week in a row, we have managed to keep the amount of circulating LEN tokens stable. We did that by burning the amount of tokens that are produced per week through staking LENM tokens. If we can keep the amount of tokens stable but on the other hand the income goes up, this should translate in higher LEN prices. It's a slow and steady process but we are quite happy about how it looks like.

Record amount of dividends to delegators

When people delegate Hive Power to the @liotes.voter account, they get daily dividend payments in LEN tokens. This week we distributed a total amount of 341 LEN tokens which represents 34 Hive. This is also about 30% of the weekly supply of LEN tokens through the Liotes Mills.

Get credits while commenting

Our mission posts have huge success and get tons of comments and interaction. However we would also like to get some feed-back on the other posts. That's why from now on we will distribute some credits on quality comments on other posts as well. These credits will help you climb the Liotes Ranking. Hopefully it will motivate people to interact with all the Liotes posts :-)

%18.69 APR for LENM is quite attractive if we consider the stability of LEN token. I do not even want to compare with fiat money and the interest paid for them 😅

Great to see the amount of burning LEN to push the price higher thanks to the working mechanism. We, as stakeholders of this great project, are delighted with every operation you conduct guys. Best regards ^^

We are doing the calculation based on the LENM price of 4 HIVE as most of you guys bought it then, but even with 5 HIVE price, it is around 15%, which is still pretty good... Also, you have mentioned 1 very important thing, and that's stability of the price...

Personally, I have some miners, or even HP delegations when you receive maybe better %, but it is actually less as the price going down...

We have a lot more work to reach the 100% stability, but this is already very nice result...

That's good to hear, good returns for the delegation. Maybe even too high? Just yesterday I was reading a maniac here who was complaining that returns of over 15% were too high and that he was going to downvote everyone who invests in such curation trails ...

Well, our curation rewards are around 12%, so we are sending back almost the whole amount... If we would go over, it would be hard to maintain... It is possible to do it with tribe tokens, but we want to balance things out and grow the base for the long term... ;)

While it is nice ideal to work toward an ever increasing investment, the value is still based on supply and demand (which is totally outside the scope of your control). Therefore, it is inevitable that at some point, the value will go down. Even the price of the mighty bitcoin continues to fluctuate. It has been on the rise for the past few months, but that followed a period where is dipped considerably. Markets (values) fluctuate. That is a foundational principle of investing. And strangely enough, it is during these dips that most of the money is made (fear selling sets in and there are bargains to be had).

My game plan is to earn while the market is going up and buy when the market is coming down (thereby increasing my holdings at lower prices so that when they rebound, my portfolio value increases exponentially). I appreciate the hard work you guys put into this project and benefits that are being produced and I hope you can sustain this growth for a long time. I will continue to earn (an occasionally invest in) more tokens as this continues to happen. But I will not be heartbroken if there is a dip in the prices which allows me to increase my future holdings as a faster pace.

I agree with your comment, but there is one important difference between our project (tokens) and others out there... We aren't connected to FIAT directly, as all our transactions are connected with HIVE... We sold LENM for HIVE, and most of our income sources are here on HIVE... Our LEN token price is also connected only to HIVE directly...

But, if you represent the price of LEN tokens in USD, we will probably have dips and peaks... The only things "indexed" in USD are prices in the shop, and that is done like that only because of the limitations of the payment script...

Again, we will have fluctuations in price, for sure... We have done some projections and it can happen, but also, we can't forget about corrections and peaks either... Also, there is a certain risk of "investment failures" that could create temporary problems... In the end, in the long run, it should balance nicely... ;)

I am here to engage as usual and thanks for the update. It sure is nice that you are burning the entire supply of the LEN tokens for a third week in a row.

It looks like people really want those mission credits but don't feel like commenting regularly so I am glad you are making these changes.

On the mission posts we have sometimes more than 100 comments and only 2 or 3 on other posts. We also want to reward people who take the time to read and engage with these other posts and we believe this is a nice way of doing it.

I respect that you take the time to make a video for each post, but I'll be honest, I don't always take the time to watch them. So, I appreciate the write up. It helps me when I'm time crunched to scan things and get the bottom line of what's happening.

Thanks Achim for the updates, it is nice to see how the project is going. I also encourage people to interact with all of the posts, also the ones upvoted by liotes voter. Is there a possibility to have a list of links where ranked members posts can be seen. Would be an extra layer of engagement.

We don't like to speak too much about future steps when we are still in the "brainstorming phase"...

The upvoting thing and support of quality posts is something that we will try to encourage even more in the future... And we will probably go outside Liotes too... As we need more citizens, so we need to spread the word and support people outside too! :)

That's very cool that you reached price stability for the LEN tokens. I just looked at the order books and currently there's more demand than offer in there, and enough on both sides for the level of transactions taking place. Things are looking good!

Let's be honest here... The market can't be built overnight and most of those orders are ours as we want to provide enough liquidity for those who want to buy or sell... Especially, the part with selling... We will always try to put enough BUY orders as people have to know that they can count that they can sell their LEN tokens for a decent price...

Adding use cases and arbitrage opportunities have created some price actions a week ago, and working on more things like that, will be better in the future...

Our project is a bit different than others and it's normal that things are developing as they are... So, things are really looking good! :)

Yup, that's understandable. I haven't sold any of my LEN for instance. I like to know there's the option (enough liquidity), but maybe I'll use other sinks in the future.
