Why Use LeoDex.io versus Hive-Engine?

Ever since I started playing dCity about a month ago I have visited daily Hive-Engine because there I can trade my daily earned SIM into swap.hive. During that time I also learned to trade multiple tokens within the exchange. What I also have started to do more often is visit LeoDex.io when ever I have to deposit or withdraw swap.hive. For those that are unaware deposit and withdraw fees are 1% at hive-engine while it is 0.25% at LeoDex. The speed of the transfer are similar and easy to do. I see LeoDex as the clear winner in exchanging 2nd layer Hive tokens. With the lower fees I also stumbled upon other very neat features in LeoDex. These features have now made it my staple go to website on a daily basis.

Why LeoDex is better than Hive-Engine?

The transfer fees for withdraw and deposit is 75% less using LeoDex verus Hive-Engine. No other discussion necessary when it comes to benefits.

There are additional features in LeoDex that are very useful for investors. For instance the wallet tab shows a good summary of account holder's total net worth in tokens with respect to the $USD, LEO or in Hive.

Then there is the open order tab where holder can review their buy and sell orders in any second layer token that they have put on. By far a great feature for traders as they can now trade multiple tokens and easily keep track which ones are still open.

Finally there is the rewards tab. This tab has been the main reason I come to LeoDex daily. It is the tab that identifies how much voting power I have left for each respective token that I have stake. I have yet to seen even some of the portal sites show the actual voting power I have, but here on LeoDex's rewards tab I see them all.

In addition users can adjust the voting power of each 2nd layer token they stake in with respect to their hive voting power.

This feature is great if user intent is to spend mostly token voting power instead of hive power. For instance setting to a max 50 would mean every vote user curates on a post would use up 2% of the second layer token while on the hive power use the most minimalist % of hive power for the same upvote. This is useful so that user can control how they want to give out their rewards through curating.

One more benefit worth mentioning is the icons in LeoDex is very user friend. For instance tokens that are staked in the wallet can actually be delegated to others. It is easily executed on LeoDex by the push of a icon button to delegate.

Then there is also a key to search for top coin holders and all holders of the token. Example below is SPT token and top rich list.

I just realised about the big difference of commission (LeoDex vs Hive Engine), as I read some post last week. So I am beginning to use more LeoDex. But still there is some aspects I like much more in Engine... Maybe it's question of habit.

True that hive-engine has its good things too, but as I continue using LeoDex I kind of see there are more advantages using it than Hive-engine. Old habits die hard.

Yes awesome. Have you checked their rich list feature. So cool. Kind of motivates you to chase the other users who have more of a specific token you want. Also easier to find who are the whales of a specific token.

Cool that have helped out. Since I know you trade a bit check out LeoDex for trading since they keep track of all your open orders too so easier to search your open trades. I think overall it’s a better user friendly platform in LeoDex.
