LEO Hodlers - Probably the strongest hands in the entire crypto industry.

What is it that you see when you look at that screenshot? Is it a colored pie and some numbers maybe? Because what you see and what I see might be completely different. So leme break it down for you.

20210204 22_46_42Trending All Topics posts — LeoFinance.png

At the moment of writing the circulation supply of LEO token is approximately ~6.638 mill. The total supply however is ~7 mill tokens. Those 362K tokens have been removed from circulation and sent to @null.

According to the chart ~ 4.91 million tokens are staked on hundreds of LEO accounts which translates to 78.66% of the circulation supply.

That leaves us with 21.34% to play with.

The thing is that almost another 1.2 million tokens that represent 19.20% of circulation supply are being used from LEO holders to provide liquidity on Uniswap. Those tokens aren't staked of course but they are not entirely liquid as well. What that means is that anyone can remove liquidity from the Uniswap pool at any given time but due to incentives from the LEO team they prefer to have them "locked" in the pool for some time. Not only they earn more LEO once every month just because they are liquidity providers but they also earn fees from the trades, so it's a win win situation for them.

And while buying directly LEO tokens from the pool is the easiest way for anyone to do so, it is also a double edged knife especially now that traffic on Ethereum network is increased. And this is exactly what prevents small investors who want to increase their LEO holdings and stake their tokens in their LEO account so that they can enjoy higher curation rewards.

Still don't get it? Hmmm lets see...

20210204 23_28_44218 Gwei _ Ethereum Gas Tracker _ Etherscan.png

Now let's say that Bob wants to buy $200 worth of LEO.
Why on Earth would he wanna to spend ~$7 x 2 for the transfers + approximately another $35 for a swap? That's almost another $50 on fees. So Bob will have to either spend $200 to buy $150 worth of LEO or watch from the sidelines...

Which leads us to the remaining 2.14% of the pie aka those 133.5K tokens that are really liquid. Does that mean that all of these tokens are sitting on @leodex? Of course not...

There are almost 8.700 tokens in there and one would have to move the price a lot in order to buy some of them. As for the remaining 100K+ tokens, they are still in liquid form but they are patiently sitting in our wallets to be powered up. So Bob is kinda doomed if you ask me. He can post of course and earn via blogging and commenting which is probably the best thing he could do.

The fact that fees on Uniswap are definitely a barrier. Does that mean that things are bad for the LEO token? Quite the opposite...LEO's price is pegged to ETH and 99.9% of the times they act as one. Does Eth go up ? So does LEO...and vise versa...

And exactly because LEO holders have very strong hands but also because 2x - 3x on ETH's price from where it is today is highly probable, expect LEO to rise 2x - 3x too...

However if you think that it won't feel free to place a sell order on @leodex and I promise it will be filled in no time.

Oh and a reminder...are you ready for the upcoming airdrops? No? Then go grab some LEO while you still can...that's if you want a head start at the new projects that are about to launch...

Have a good one people.

Cheers.

I keep saying the Leo is my biggest bet for 2021 and I still stand by it. Although I don't have a lot to spare to buy I will work my arse out contributing to the community in my little way. Not planning on selling this year, staking everything I can earn. Plus the news of the airdrop is equally exciting.

You mean the airdrop(s)... ;)

Blogging is probably the best way to earn when you can't afford to buy and the more you try the more you'll be noticed mate. Your account will grow in no time trust me.

LEO team will share amazing news the following days...stay tuned

Decided not to touch anything I have powered up on Leo for the next 360 days, whatever the case might be. So let's see how that goes...

I have completely missed LEO. Never cared to even look at this community. I thought it was one of many useless tokens. Boy, was I wrong! Now I will learn it hard way.
Now, even $0.6 seems low.

I would think differently, because today if LEO is at $ 0.60 you can be sure that its price is still very underestimated.

If your goal is for the long term, know that today is still a great opportunity to accumulate more LEO. You don't necessarily need to buy just ... You can also earn LEO through posts and delegating to @leo.voter. There are several ways 👍🏼😉

I don't play the $eth game - feees are way to high - it's almost as bad as dealing with banks or any other type of 'agent' that always got their hands in your pockets.

I try to stick with super cheap($doge) or FREE ($hive/$leo) chains.

I don't have a lot of funds to throw at stuff (I'm one of the 'unbanked') so I just keep earning and stacking mine the old fashioned way.

Old fashioned ways re usually very effective. As for Doge...don't

So if I want to buy more Leo without having to spend more fees, then I guess doing so over the dex or hive engine will be the best way yeah?

Yes it's probably the best way, that or directly posting, delegating HP to leovoter is another option. The thing is that with so thin liquidity prices may go higher quite soon and LEO have been bullish already.

The high amount of tokens staked into the platform is doing wonders for onboarding new bloggers like myself. There is so much potential staked into the platform and it is bound to continue growing!

What helps and drives some investors away from the ETH platform are the high fees. Hive at that point is far superior if comparing.

LEO hodlers really have a strong hand and I believe we will have a test when LEO reaches $ 1. The future promises to be very interesting with the next releases.

Hive is superior to 99.9% of all blockchains. What we lack of is SMT's and marketing. Then there won't be a single thing one can do on some random blockchian and not on Hive

I made my entry in Leo when its price was crashed after the hack. I used all my funds to some Leo that time. I was lucky enough as I never got that chance again. I have been waiting for some price drop but it never happened. I am buying some Leo from Leodex today.

Being definitely one of those "small investors." there's just no way I'd be willing to pay those ETH fees, given that I'd likely not be spending more than maybe $100 or $200 to invest, at a time.

So for the moment, I'm just grateful to have my little tiny stake and to perhaps earn a little more from curation and comments.

Speaking of fees, I thought @taskmaster4450's look at Hive as a mini-Ethereum was quite poignant...

I already earned and powered up just over 10 $LEO in my 1st week. This is a wonderful Platform, wish I knew about this place so much earlier. Glad to be hear and was surprised how high $LEO is ranked on CoinGecko !

The Achilles heel perhaps Cardano could be another portal with less fee's. I read that their whole model is 'ETH' Killer . WLEO? ALEO?

ETH pool being too expensive, no liquidity on the engine market.
Last hope for small LEO investor is to wait for LeoFi pools but I’m afraid this will make LEO price even higher.
Which in reality is super exciting ! This community is a wonder :)

What is LEO staking interest rate?
How is the reward pool calculated?
Where can I see the stats and data? Is it open-source?
Are there LEO witnesses?

Something I learned from the HEX community is how price action works on uniswap.

Apparently there is a calculator to verify this but if someone were to market buy LEO, but with as much Ethereum as there is in the LP, then the price will double.

Example: let’s say there’s 100 in the liquify pool, if someone market buys with 100 eth in one market buy, they will double the amount by of eth in the LP but 4x the price

(Edited)

Yeah I know...I am just not that much concerned about those who can throw 100 ETH at one or even 10 different buys, but mostly about better distribution. And to get better distribution we need to find a reasonably cheap way for people who buy small chunks from time to time to have access to the pool. They still do have access but any amount less than 4K - $5K just don't worth the trouble and is highly unprofitable.

With LEO I feel like the fun is just getting started. Selling now would be like watching a great movie and leaving after the first 10 minutes. Forget that. Give me my popcorn and let me enjoy what comes next.

Those are great figures, Leo is a totally different ball game to other blog sites. Its wleo gives it an added edge in the market and exposure.

The developers have employed techniques that are truly agile and innovative. It has driven success and project exposure also to Hive.

The team should be proud of themselves

A lot more to come the following weeks.

And imagine that they've done so many things for the greater good and their witness is ranked 29th or something. Bad bad bad...people should wake up and see who is working hard and who isn't...

Totally agree. Maybe I should call for some help. I am in a few communities. Not sure if it will help or not. Worth a try.

To add to the math calculation. over 50k LEO are in an account where the person has lost the keys. That is why there are 100k as liquid. And I think also on the other 50k there are some people that miss the key or are not active anymore.

This is to underline the fact that the LEO-users are the most financial sound people on this blockchain!

Very solid write. Investors on LEO are very long term investors. They have no option because the lead team of the LF project makes us look into the future wiuth much optimism and suspense.
