What I do not get is this, in my head I think it’s smart to have a community to bootstrap these sorts of project, so the question is this, where do these other projects get their users from if most of them do no marketing passé?

I don't know. I didn't research their background. It may be that their community is just in for the money. It doesn't matter really. Every project needs a user base. It looks like that these other PancakeSwap clones are better at that than LeoFinance is.

I think a lot of it is from Twitter and sources of that nature. I am in a large Discord/Telegram group my friend created for crypto/stocks and a lot of them are definitely very new to markets and don't understand them in general (a lot of panic type situations). I don't partake in the group much but it's very diverse and they are CONSTANTLY posting sources they get of all these new projects popping up from Twitter and Medium articles.

Yeah, also worth noting that half of them are scams as well. The "investor" side of the alt coin world is an extremely messy and confusing one. I am part of some of the groups in case there's ever any info, and it's a shitshow
