What to do after a failed investment.

Hello Hive.

Nobody wants to make a loss in any business they venture into, be it crypto or otherwise.
It is really unfortunate to see people loss money in any business. Loss is unavoidable but can be minimised while alot of people have found a way to cut down loss, everyone devise a strategy that works for him, but has everyone been able to successfully achieve this?.

There is a kind of loss one can recover from, but others come as a shock that without enough emotional strength an individual can loss their mental stability, such as the case we have experienced with Luna.

My heart goes out to those who have lost funds, especially a dear friend of mine who invested all his life savings barely few month into Luna project before this crash.

Experiences like this make people to loss faith in cryptocurrency, nevertheless I blame him for not letting me know about his moves, hive would have been a better investment for him.

Am fortunate to have some friends around here and sometimes I tell them about my moves regarding a particular project before I invest. Robbing minds together is really helpful with certain decisions.

What to do after a failed investment

Have you been a victim of failed investment before, how did you overcome it?

Having multiple source of investment can be a saving grace, when one bag is empty I look forward to some compensation from the other bag.

But its unfortunate that some people prefer to go all in on a single token/project with all their capital such that when the project crashes, all their live earning go down the drain.

Having multiple investment can help you get over a loss sooner.

Am not sure if the Terra (Luna) company are doing anything for investors but you can at least help yourself.
It wont be good to remain in the mud after such a fall.
Dust yourself up, get over it and plan to start afresh.

Think of other opportunities and especially have with numerous doors.
You can start here and small as well besides you get better information and mingle with other crypto minded persons.

Thanks for stopping by

This is a thoughtful advice from you and I think the major reason the crash of Luna was a huge loss to many is because they didn't plan for the bad days like this...

Putting one's eggs in one basket is a risk that only a few can survive from, I don't try that anymore after I got heart break from it.

Thanks for the reminder, I hope we all learn and grow

Practically, investment makes a great deal of happiness. Loosing your investment does leave one devastated. I don't think putting your eggs in one basket is right because overtime, even if it doesn't collapse, it'll cause major sloth in finances.
Rubbing minds together is also wise and you seem to know what you're doing which is totally great. I just hope that crypto noobs don't blame the cryptosphere and rather bounce back with a vengeance to achieve more.

There's got to be trying times in investments, time to fail, win. We all can't start out being perfect or good. At some point we will make wrong move(s) the reaction should be to learn and go at it a gain.

Not easy but we've got to keep on keeping on.

Hmmm, this is deep.
And I hope we have enough strength to handle the losses much as we handle the gains.

I am a very cautious investor. My strategy is to minimize the chances of losing and the main tactic I adopt is to diversify.

That's the best thing to do and am doing just that.
Most times when I don't know what to do, I ask around them make my evaluations.

Thanks for this.

It is hard to take a loss or even come back from it, if one isn't mentally prepared for the outcome of an investment. whether good or bad one has to be ready because it may just happen again with another investment.

I have had more than 2 failed investment and the fact I was totally ready for whatever outcome kept me going.

I suggest people talk to other people when the lose money, this way you let out how you feel. Not to people who judge a lot, because they are some people that don’t like investing and when you lose money from investing they end up judging you.

(Edited)

That's totally true.
And others like to hide some investment moves they make not wanting other to know about you and when they lose it becomes hard to say it out...

I mean no harm in telling a friend I want to buy a little Luna...

Imagine my friend that lost all his life savings, he never mentioned that investment until he got wrecked.

Thanks for that addition.

I always search for your post from time to time because it's usually insightful .

I learnt about robbing minds with some successful people in a business before embarking on same journey after a huge loss I encountered in 2019. Putting all my capital in one investment no matter how promising it looks is a no no for me, I need to prevent heart attack plz🤩

Thanks for sharing this👌
