Does Hive need community driven Twitter Marketing ?

I've no agenda here and I just wanted to get some honest feedback.

I'm surprised by that. With all of the work that you do spreading awareness about the platform, you think it'd be a slam-dunk, to assist you in any way. Anything that helps get the word out is something worth supporting.

Thank you. Because I don't check or ask who is voting and who is not voting on my Witness/DHF proposal might be the reason why it didn't get funding.

Anyways, I'm planning to withdraw my current proposal and set up a new one after after getting enough feedbacks and some brainstorming sessions.

I don’t know bro - I don’t understand why the whales don’t support. This is not a lot of money.

Important thing is that I've learned something with my last two proposals.

Now it's the time to think big and make plan for execution for community driven Twitter marketing.

(Edited)

Dumb question; where exactly does one go to vote on proposals/how does it work?
I like you and your enthusiasm/energy.. so I’d be inclined to check out and back your proposals (although it’s probably too late..)

(Also I’ve no idea if Twitter is a good place for communicating big ideas like Hive.
It seems a good place for instant and forgettable connections in quick moving conversations, and for catching viral waves - but I’ve scarcely seen anyone who isn’t involved ask a question about Hive)

Asking question is not dumb.

I'm planning to withdraw my current proposal, so don't worry about voting. If you see Hive from a Crypto enthusiastic perfective, then Twitter Shilling is extremely key to grow Hive Network effects. Charles Hoskinson of $ADA, CZ of $BNB do spend lot of their energy on Twitter.

The problem with my proposal is that I wanted Twitter marketing to be community driven and stay decentralised. So I will have to figure out a best strategy before put up a brand new proposal.

The issue with Twitter marketing lies in the algorithm that puts tweets onto someone's feed. We are only reaching people with a rooted interest in crypto and though that is still a good thing, I think that a successful campaign to really reach the lofty goals Hive can achieve, we need to circumvent that algo and that can only really be done through clickbait or really outrageously innovative tweets. Twitter is a good start, but it isn't everything we need

Thank you for the feedback.

The issue with Twitter marketing lies in the algorithm that puts tweets onto someone's feed.

I can understand that this is not in our control. But building relationship with wider crypto community via Twitter is in our control. Once we've built a good relationship with someone through Twitter then use that to our advantage like promoting Hive on ClubHouse etc.

Many people knows the brand Steem but not Hive. If our campaign can bring one Billionaire or a Major partnership to Hive that push the price then it will be a successful campaign.

Any campaign needs funding and people. We've many people from our community are promoting Hive on Twitter and we need to find a good strategy and small financial incentives.

Nathan you might have an easy way by teaming up with people of your opinion upfront, like @lordbutterfly did. He got approved big times very fast. You can do that too.

I will approve you anyway.

You're absolutely right!

I should create a little team from our global community from Hive500 Crypto Club.

We need one simple model that we can sustain for longer period of time.

Nathan... I think that you have enough raw energy and passion for the Hive community to power all of London. ✌️

I’ve seen first hand your drive and vision. What I’m saying is that I’m glad your here working to get the word out about the Hive Blockchain on Twitter and I’m confident that your efforts are extremely positive for Hive.

You have my trust and I’m certain that with continued time and effort that trust will compound out to everyone here on Hive.

Let’s keep the communication open... and I think that looking for feedback is a smart way to proceed. Please let me know when your next proposal goes live and I’ll do what I can to vote and tell. 👍

I don't think it's necessary if we all tweet our articles written on HIVE

Twitter marketing is not just limited to sharing Hive Article on Twitter.

It's about expanding Hive Network to wider crypto community and the world. it's about building relationship with non Hive people on Twitter and actively looking for partnerships and new investors for Hive

now I understand your intentions better, among my Italian friends, I don't have many, about 20, I'm the only one who still uses twitter. I believe that twitter is no longer a social network used by young people. But I can be wrong.
