How to use dCity.io for your Splinterlands experience / Jak wykorzystać dCity.io w grze Splinterlands [EN/PL]

The @dcitygame is a popular NFT token-based game where we can build our own dream city. In today's tutorial I will show you how you can use a certain mechanic present in dCity to play special tournaments in @splinterlands.

We will use the mechanic of earning ENTRY tokens. In dCity we can earn many different tokens based on the Hive blockchain. These tokens include WEED, GAMER, ENTRY and BEER. To start gaining these tokens we need to have the appropriate buildings in our city. Because today, we're only going to talk about the ENTRY token, I'll only discuss the aspects related to it.

Stadium is the building that will enable us to gain ENTRY tokens. For every additional stadium we will receive one additional ENTRY token. We can always increase our ENTRY earnings by buying an event called SplinterFest. Its price is 500 DEC and during its duration the ENTRY production is increased by 5 percent. If we have Gamer and ProGamer cards in our city, we also gain a boost in production of 1 and 3 percent respectively.

Well, to buy a stadium we have to go shopping! You do this in the Market section of dCity.io and enter Stadium in the search field on the left side. Then on the right hand side click on the button to go to the NFT purchase section.

Enter the number of stadiums you are interested in and click Buy. Confirm the operation. After a while we should receive our stadium.

Now we will receive our ENTRY tokens every day depending on the number of stadiums and Gamer and/or ProGamer cards we have.

Now you might ask, why do I even need these tokens? ENTRY tokens can be used as entry fees to Splinterlands tournaments organised by the @dcitygame developers. The standard cost is 3 thousand ENTRY tokens. If we do not have enough tokens, we can buy them on the Hive Engine website. However, before we do that, we need to pay HIVE, for which we will buy the appropriate amount of ENTRY tokens. We can do this on the beeswap website. I especially recommend this site because it charges a commission of only 0.25% instead of 1% (compared to Hive Engine).

Enter the amount you are interested in and click Deposit to Hive-Engine.

Now we go to the Hive Engine page and buy the amount of tokens we are interested in. In my case it will be 2990 tokens, in your case probably 3000, because you have not yet started to get tokens.

Now we can head to the Splinterlands website and search for DCITY TOURNAMENT in the upcoming tournaments. As you go into the details you will be able to see the rules of the battles and the buy-in amount for the tournament you are checking out. As I mentioned, it is usually 3000 ENTRY. There is nothing left to do but to sign up for the tournament and face your opponents!

The prizes are pretty big in my opinion and even if you come in last place with a prize the entry fee will pay for itself at the current price. The second option is to purchase the SplinterFest event for your city, this way you will receive many bonuses for a limited time. I recommend this second option!

No dobrze, aby zakupić stadion musimy udać się na zakupy! Zrobimy to wchodząc w sekcję Market na dCity.io i wpisując Stadium w wyszukiwarkę po lewej stronie. Następnie po prawej stronie klikamy w przycisk aby przejść do sekcji zakupu NFT.

Wpisujemy interesującą nas ilość stadionów i klikamy Buy. Potwierdzamy operację. Po chwili powinniśmy otrzymać nasz stadion.

Teraz codziennie będziemy otrzymywać swoje tokeny ENTRY w zależności od ilości posiadanych stadionów i kart Gamer i/lub ProGamer.

Teraz moglibyście spytać, po co mi w ogóle te tokeny? ENTRY możemy wykorzystać jako wejściówkę na turnieje Splinterlands organizowane przez twórców @dcitygame. Standardowo taki koszt to 3 tysiące tokenów ENTRY. Jeżeli nie mamy wystarczającej ilości tokenów, możemy je dokupić na stronie Hive Engine. Zanim to jednak zrobimy musimy wpłacić HIVE, za które kupimy odpowiednią ilość ENTRY. Możemy to zrobić na stronie beeswap. Polecam Wam szczególnie tę stronę, ponieważ pobiera ona prowizję w wysokości jedynie 0.25% zamiast 1% (w porównaniu do Hive Engine).

Wpisujemy interesującą nas ilość i klikamy Deposit to Hive-Engine.

Teraz przechodzimy na stronę Hive Engine i dokupujemy interesującą nas ilość tokenów. W moim przypadku będzie to 2990 tokenów, w Waszym pewnie 3000, ponieważ jeszcze nie zaczęliście zdobywać tokenów.

Teraz możemy udać się na stronę Splinterlands i wyszukać w nadchodzących turniejach DCITY TOURNAMENT. Jak wejdziecie w szczegóły będziecie mogli zobaczyć zasady walk i ilość wpisowego w sprawdzanym przez Was turnieju. Tak jak wspominałem, zwykle jest to 3000 ENTRY. Nie pozostaje nam nic innego jak zapis do turnieju i stanięcie do walki z oponentami!

Nagrody są całkiem duże moim zdaniem i nawet gdy zajmiecie ostatnie miejsce z nagrodą to koszt wpisowego przy aktualnej cenie Wam się zwróci. Drugą opcją jest zakup eventu SplinterFest do Waszego miasta, w ten sposób otrzymacie wiele bonusów przez określony czas. Polecam tą drugą opcję!
