Transfers on Ethereum at normal levels? / Transfery Ethereum na normalnym poziomie? [EN/PL]

I have not been on the Ethereum network for several weeks. The main reason for this was the relatively high transfer costs. I say relatively high because it's one thing to send the equivalent of 50 thousand dollars and another to lend 20 dollars to a friend and pay 15 for the transfer. It is a difference resulting from the size of the wallet, but still.

For several days now, however, it has been noticeable that money transfers have become 'unpleasantly' cheap. I put this word in inverted commas, because it is strange to look at these amounts. 2 dollars for a transfer, 4 for an ERC-20 transfer. However, we are used to slightly higher fees (Mid-May ahh we remember). Since then there are about 25% less transfers which must have contributed to the lower commissions.

And so now I wonder if Ethereum is slowly becoming affordable again for users with lesser wallets. DeFi is growing all the time and such cheap transactions might be tempting for someone who is not yet "in" DeFi on Ethereum. Admittedly, Binance Smart Chain offers much cheaper solutions all the time, but not everyone will like this blockchain. The issue of security and the increasing number of attacks recently may discourage someone. Ethereum in this regard seems to be still in a higher position.

Speaking of DeFi, today I was thinking about the DeFi project, but in the Hive ecosystem. Such a PancakeSwap, but ours. Free transfers and high bandwidth is something that sounds great, worse is the implementation of such a project. Od kilkunastu tygodni nie siedzę w sieci Ethereum. Głównym powodem tego były relatywnie wysokie koszty transferu. Piszę relatywnie wysokie bo co innego kiedy wysyłamy równowartość 50 tysięcy dolarów a co innego kiedy pożyczamy koledze 20 dolarów i przy okazji płacimy za przelew 15. Jest to różnica, wynikająca co prawda z grubości portfela, ale jednak.

Od kilku dni natomiast można zauważyć, że przelewy stały się jakoś "nieprzyjemnie" tanie. Ująłem to słowo w cudzysłowie, ponieważ aż dziwnie się patrzy na te kwoty. 2 dolary za przelew, 4 za transfer ERC-20. Przyzwyczailiśmy się jednak do nieco wyższych opłat (Połowa Maja ahh pamiętamy). Od tamtego czasu jest około 25% mniej transferów co musiało się przyczynić do niższych prowizji.

I tak się teraz zastanawiam czy Ethereum powoli znowu staje się przystępny dla użytkowników z mniej zasobnym portfelem. DeFi rozwija się cały czas i takie tanie transakcje mogą być kuszące dla kogoś kto jeszcze "nie jest" w DeFi na Ethereum. Co prawda Binance Smart Chain cały czas oferuje o wiele tańsze rozwiązania ale nie każdemu ten blockchain przypadnie do gustu. Kwestia bezpieczeństwa i narastająca ostatnio ilość ataków może kogoś zniechęcić. Ethereum w tej kwestii wydaje się być ciągle na wyższej pozycji.

Jak już o DeFi mowa, rozmyślałem dzisiaj nad projektem DeFi tylko, że w ekosystemie Hive. Takie PancakeSwap ale nasze. Darmowe transfery i wysoka przepustowość to coś co brzmi super, gorzej z realizacją takiego projektu.
