Appics moving to Telos blockchain

What is Telos

As of today the Appics app is moving from the Steem blockchain chain to the Telos blockchain. A very weird move, as the Telos blockchain is very unknown and still kind of obscure for the broader public. Telos did rise incredibly in value since the move was made public. TLOS price has quadrupled since then.

Now Appics is in maintenance mode, but many things are unclear, will there be a transitional fase? What will happen with the APX Steem-Engine tokens? Will there be a swap, or an airdrop? Nothing is really clear, and that concerns me, as transparency is key in the crypto world!

Good riddance! They could not control Hive the way they were on steem.

You must ask yourself why they didn't switch to Hive, why they remained on steem and why they switched to another centralised blockchain.
They don't care about the community

They are acting like "big tech" and not really like a grassroots new decentralized tech group.

I remember hearing this now months ago, now it is apparently happening, not sure I like it tho, Hive is much better.. it seems like a very closed system they are building.

I never played with TLOS, but what I know is they have staking with staking rewards, I dont think they have a social media blockchain like Hive, but I guess they could store information in that telos blockchain. I suspect that APPICS, only will use the currency Telos for rewards, but text will be store in a old fashion database, but I dont know.

I also speculate that they might knew Justin Sun from that Steem fest in 2019 and therefore they was supporting him, its all speculation. Its wierd to me that they didnt follow to Hive, but maybe the Hive witnesses didnt wanted to give them some big delegation like Ned did back in the day, again its all speculation...

I think we are better of on Hive then on APPICS.

I don't understand APPICS. They're very tight lipped about their activities and keep the community at arm's length.

The ICO, it was like $10000 minimum for a product that took 2-3 years to even finish, and then when they go online its a "closed" app not open site like Hive/Lassecash and all tribes.

To me its a shitty product.
