Hive, Steem, Blurt, Or? .:. Who will be the winner? Just my 2c
Every now and then, especially when there are some bigger movements inside the crypto world, I like to stop and make some kind of re-cap of events that are happening... Maybe not just events, but also developments in the blockchains of my interest... Of course, you already know that my focus is on Hive and LBRY for some time, but I also like to see where can I involve myself more... A year and a bit before, I have decided to put most of my time into the CTPTalk platform and CTP tokens... I think that I didn't make a mistake as that tribe is ranking between the best ones on the Hive at the moment...
Of course, if there are similar opportunities where I can go, I try to take them... One of those is of course LEO Finance, as it has a similar niche as CTP, so it is a perfect match for some of my contents...
Anyways, this vlog was more about certain trends that were before in the content creation, and trends that are future... Maybe that isn't so visible for someone from the outside of blockchain technology and decentralized social media, but we that know the real potential of it, we don't have doubts about it...
However, time is passing by, and regardless of how many times we say that the price of the tokens isn't important, everyone watches it... Currently, the price doesn't show the real picture that we have on the ground... It looks like those things aren't connected... Knowing the current situation in the world, and the amount of fake news spread by mainstream media, it isn't that hard to imagine these "weird" things inside crypto...
In the video, I was talking about these three projects from the title and added some thoughts about additional opportunities that are out there... If you have a couple of minutes of time, I would like to hear what you have to say about this topic... See you in the comment section!

Hive has been down at .08, so I would not be concerned until hive breaks below .05 if that happens I think it might go to the bottom.
But I can't imagine that the whales want it to go all the way to 0.
We might have people waiting for it to reach a certain level before they will buy into it to get it at a good price.
About the other tokens, well unless they are able to break out from hive like Leo, they will also go down if hive goes down.
I don't know the USD price, as I follow only prices indexed in BTC, and we are at the lowest... Anyways, as I said in the video, there is a lot of development in HIVE, and also around HIVE, where dApps are built on it... and it will take time...
Regarding tribes, is a similar situation... as you said... if there is a development, it will show on the price in the long term... but also, on the community and the "vibes" around it...

I like the fact that all these content creation blockchains allow us to have a return on our investment. We can stake hive, lbc, steem, leo, ctp and they give us a return for upvoting stuff or for delegating to dlease. The more tokens we have, the more we can diversify our portfolio. At the same time we can grow the number of our income sources and our stake. Prices fluctuate and it's difficult to predict them but with a bigger stake we can't do anything wrong.
Splinterlands have partnered with brave. I listened to a recording between aggroed and a guy from brave. I found one thing very interesting. The guy from brave said that whenever he speaks with people from outside the crypto sphere they were very quickly glazing over and couldn't understand what he was saying. There is so much work to be done to make people understand. With Leo offering onboarding over metamask and later with google or facebook accounts, the cryptosphere slowly becomes main stream. I believe that these tokens will explode when people are actually not aware that they are dealing with cryptos.
The play splinterlands and like in every game they can earn the ingame token (DEC). But hey you can exchange these DEC for real money!!! Once this goes in, I believe that we will witness a rush of people joining platforms like hive. Now imagine the big businesses discovering that. Only one big business discovers the potential of Hive. They will need RC to create accounts for their customers. Imagine the impact it can have on the price of Hive....
I believe we need to be patient but I'm very optimistic about the potential of Hive and the HE tokens.

I like when you fire up my doubts with optimism... hahahaha... I know most of the "facts" that make Hive a valuable blockchain, as I said in the video also... But, I like to get confirmation from others that we are doing it right...
I mean, we have similar problems as we had on the old blockchain... lack of communication with developers, and spreading the word out of the chain... but, the similar thing was with Bitcoin... even worse as it was the first... nobody understood the big potential that it has (except few), and here we are...
I hope that Hive will have a similar journey and people will recognize the power of this blockchain and the awesome things that can be built on it...
I found some points you mentioned in this video very interesting...
First of all, when you mentioned Adsense, I recall trying to use that account a LONG time ago on a blog I tried to do (which never lasted) before my blockchain years. It was so confusing to use and I barely made anything on it. Then, the company banned me for no reason so I could never get it back. It wasn't even worth so I said forget about it lol....and you mentioned trying to build a YouTube channel these days, I laughed. I relate totally...while my channel is doing nicely in my eyes, it is NEVER going to get as big as a lot of other creators because the platform is so over saturated, no matter how "original" you are...
I really appreciate that I can create my content on HIVE and LBRY. It is really cool to know that we are owners of these amazing platforms & always will have a little skin in the game, which gives us more freedoms in that sense. Besides the crypto itself, we have freedom of speech, tons of room to create content, meeting fascinating people, etc. @LeoFinance really has me excited about the future, especially with the new onboarding feature, as well as Hive itself. I hope to see the price eventually rise, but in due time, I think it will....the more we USE the system, the more chances it has to thrive...but now it's getting some owners to realize that...
Unfortunately, I have not been able to log into Blurt at all so I gave up on that....so we will see...but LBRY is gaining more of my focus as well... the future is bright & exciting so I am definitely a long term investor .....

Yes, you can be a guinea pig as an example of building a YouTube channel... Actually, you have some headstart as you started it for some time... I was more thinking about starting right now... But, as you said, you didn't get "that far", as it takes time... Maybe you will have a lot more if you have started 5-10 years ago, but still, the uncertanty and free speech will never be like on some decentralized platform...
Watching some YT "influencers" I have noticed the same pattern on everyone... You have to sugar your content to be more "acceptable", to fit in a certain "pattern"... That's why almost every popular YT channel looks the same... there is no variety... TO get that, you have to be FREE to speak your truth, which, obviosly isn't the case on YT...
Nice to see that you are growing your accounts on Hive and LBRY, and I really believe that these platforms have a bright future...

I am by far no expert on any of these platforms or tokens or cryptocurrencies in general, but I am learning. What I can say though, is that things like Google Adsense just doesn't make sense to me when compared to decentralized platforms such as the Hive blockchain. In my opinion, with Google Adsense you have to do all the work, you have to study and master SEO...all to ensure traffic on the site where you have your Google Adsense. Then you have to sit and wait, in the hope that you will make some money. Unless you are (again in my opinion) some great expert, you don't really have much control.
On these decentralized platforms, on the other hand, you have much more control. You know what you can and cannot expect right from the outset. Then from there on, your growth is related to how you manage your work and portfolio. Yes, for someone new (like myself) there is a lot to learn, but from the start, you have control and it is up to you what you will do with it versus waiting to see what the results will be and leaving yourself at the mercy of other people (such as Google).
If you just want to write something for the fun of it, it will be different. But if you are serious about the future and want to build something to benefit you in the future, add real value to a community, and create something for yourself on which you can build for the future, I think it's a no-brainer.
Hive might be down at the moment, but I sense stability and confidence in the community. That gives me peace of mind and confidence in the future. You need to decide where your focus will be. As you said in your video, it is good to diversify, but you also need focus. If we are going to jump around from one coin to another every time a coin or token loses some value, we are doomed for failure.
Many people have lost huge amounts of money with bitcoin for that same reason. They sold when they started listening to other people, instead of doing their own research and having faith in what they believe.

As there is no person who knows how much will BTC value tomorrow, the same goes with "SEO experts"... I have learned that lesson a long time before trying with all possible tricks to "be nice with Google" and to like my website... But, also by paying to so called "experts" for their "services", which was just pumping some irrelevant indicators of my websites... Google algorithm is changing every few weeks, and I'm starting to believe that nobody knows how it works... It's like a recipe for Crusty-burgers of the SpongeBob... lol...
I agree with you about Hive, and decentralized platforms in general... Yes, we as owners of our content, have a lot more power to navigate with our ship... And, yes, there are a lot of problems after every Hard Fork, and not just then... I know that it has passed 4-5 years since the creation of this network, but it's evolving through time and it needs more time...
The important thing is that we have a choice where we want to build... And everyone can pick in what he believes that it's better... I have put my "bet" on the cryptocurrency... Am I right? Don't know, but I have a feeling that I will know the answer very soon...
