When a Good Idea Isn't Enough .:. Hump Day Easy Talk

Today I had an interesting talk with one of my old (offline) friends... We were talking about a lot of things and one of the topics was our current projects, but also some of the plans and ideas for the future... Also, we were talking about financial issues that can occur when some of the clients don't pay and how to avoid those things...

A lot of great ideas on both sides, and very few "free" hours to develop them... Day has 24 hours, and if we already work most of a day, sometimes we have to cut on one side and add to another one... Make priorities and decisions which will tweak a little on one side, but maybe change a lot the final result...

He told me about his current struggles that have happened as one of his clients didn't pay him for the service that he has done... As he was literally working more than a month on that project, it was his 100% monthly income lost... In today's society, when we live from today for tomorrow, you can imagine how it looks when you have been cut for a whole month's wage...

That's when savings and investments came to the surface to "save" us... But, to have them, you have to start building them... On-time... Now...

Saving is definitely important and I think the community here on HIVE makes it quite interesting. By staking our rewards, we can gain some consistent income so you should invite him over to HIVE.

Actually, I did... But, he is one of the people that don't see the "big picture"... So, it has to come from him, as the decision is his...

I'm just tired of seeing this brainwashing from mainstream media that push people every day more and more into slavery... Sometimes, I have a feeling that the wheel of progress is going backward...
