in LeoFinance4 days ago

Welcome to my CTP weekly stats report. It is compiled for everyone interested in the development of CTP Talk and CTP token, so please continue to read for your weekly stats dosage.

Weekly summary

I’ll start with a summary of the key performance indicators on one slide. In the sections after, I will provide further details for each of these indicators.

The report is divided in the following sections:
• Daily posts and earnings on CTP Talk
• Top CTP Talk post authors and earners
• New, active and total post authors
• Daily comments and earnings
• CTP Talk frontend utilisation
• CTP on Hive-Engine & Market capitalisation

Daily posts and earnings on CTP Talk

The first section contains the daily posts and earnings in week 17. During this week, 454 (-6.8%) unique authors published 1,582 (-6.8%) posts and generated 22,249 CTP in earnings. The first chart below presents the number of posts published per day.

The second chart shows the earnings these posts have generated per day.

In the past months, the number of unique authors kept growing with 5.3 authors weekly, although we can now notice in the chart below a slowdown since the beginning of April.

Also the number of posts increased, with 6.7 posts weekly, but again here we see a similar slowdown.

Top CTP Talk post authors and earners

The next two charts present the top post authors and earners in week 17.

The TOP 3 CTP authors with the highest number of posts were @alokkumar121 (23), @funnel (23) and @regenerette (23).

Furthermore, the TOP 3 CTP post earners were @jongolson (1,166 CTP), @ph1102 (754 CTP) and @taskmaster4450 (695 CTP).

Studying the post earnings breakdown of the top 20 authors versus all other authors, the top 20 authors received 66% of all post earnings in week 17. In the chart below you can find the earning percentages since October.

New, active and total post authors

In week 17 we had 45 new authors on CTP Talk.

I would like to welcome @lovesports, @gabyr02, @yannet80, @liz.writes, @antonella085, @enrrique30, @eturnerx-dbuzz, @hivermasdebil, @alixspot, @herbertholmes2, @anikbarman, @muterra, @criptoclub, @bellou61, @selimhaki, @sarimanok, @claudio83.pob, @brunup, @edimar09, @stemaddict, @mohoshenamitu, @cryptorange, @broadhive-org, @katerinhernandez, @chnadanmer, @brahiam15, @asrm2002, @merit.ahama, @briayana, @desraizada, @de-chief, @villen28, @abundanceheart, @catharsis, @golden06, @jc1991gsf, @seckorama, @jakim7, @opick, @photobook, @ahmadakhiratirvinc, @tinta-tertuang and @abdullahsattar to the CTP tribe, having published their first post during this week.

Looking at the overall trend, the number of new authors is further increasing with 0.2 authors weekly. As a result, the total number of CTP Talk authors has now reached 1,902.

The 14-days retention rate (which provides an indication of CTP Swarm engagement, interest, and loyalty) has reached 597 authors and declined a bit but is still close to all-time high level.

Daily comments and earnings

This week we had 11,701 comments in total, it is a bit less than last week and it looks like it is dipping. Lets monitor how this develops in the coming weeks.

Also the comment upvote value decreased again this week to 1,154 CTP (-8.1%).

CTP Talk frontend utilisation

In the sections above I have highlighted the posts and comments generated using the CTP tag. These posts and comments could have been entered using many different frontends. When we specifically look at the CTP Talk frontend, 338 posts and comments were published in week 17, which is almost double the number as compared to last week.

The TOP 3 authors were @king.sports (10 posts), @alente (7 posts) and @mba2020 (4 posts).

The TOP 3 comment posters were @jfang003 (65 comments), @king.sports (65 comments) and @moonthumb (26 comments).

The two graphs below present the TOP 10 post and comment authors.

As mentioned above already, the frontend was used substantial more as compared to last week which you can clearly see in the chart below.

CTP on Hive-Engine & Market Capitalisation

The following charts present the development of the CTP token on Hive-Engine.

The first chart provides an overview of the total CTP supply, the number of tokens staked, liquid and burned.

In week to 2 May, the total CTP supply increased with 28,364 CTP to 3,227,161 CTP. The number of tokens staked went up to 2,830,539 or 90.1% of the total number in circulation. Finally, 513 CTP were burned.

The total amount of CTP in circulation is held by 3,200 (+2.8%) account holders, which is steadily increasing.

The next chart presents the TOP 20 CTP holders. This week there have been no changes in ranking.

The following chart is taken from Hive Engine and presents the price development in the last three months. As you can see there has been a steady decline in price after the peak mid-February. On the positive side, the price has stabilised at the end of March and is slowly increasing again.

The final chart of this report highlights the CTP Market Capitalisation development. On 2nd of May the CTP Market Capitalisation was $107k USD.

This concludes my weekly update, until the next time and stay safe! 😀

Wow, very good analysis. I guess you can tell I like numbers and the story behind them. I recently retired from Finance and Accounting so really like this kind of stuff. I am new to CTPTalk and Hive so still getting my feet wet with what is available here in the Hive community. I will follow you so that I do not miss it. Have a great day.

Thanks @darmst5339 and welcome on board. CTP Talk is focussed on business, entrepreneurship, affiliate marketing so you will feel at home here. Another tribe which I can recommend on Hive is Leofinance and Cubfinance. Enjoy your time here... :)

I am enjoying myself so far and learning a whole lot as well. I will check out Leofinance and Cubfinance.

Thank you very much friend @pjansen.ctp for the mention in your blog and for the excellent information that you share with us, receive my most sincere greetings and affection from Venezuela.👍😉

Welcome @jakim7, I trust that you will enjoy it here at CTP Talk. Greetings to you... 😃

I look forward to seeing your updates on the utilization of CTPTalk. I need to use it more often. :)

Congrats on making it to the top 10 😀

Thanks @robwillmann. I agree that we all need to use it more often and I'm sure this will happen with the new frontend is ready.

Excellent report, great graphs, looking forward to your next one 😀

Thanks @mba2020, I'm building it to support the CTP swarm and other interested so if you have any recommendations of information to add please let me know.

Muchísimas gracias por mencionarme! De verdad espero seguir contando con tu apoyo

Espero leer sus informes. Disfrute de su tiempo aquí en CTP Talk.

Thank you for the mention!

Indeed, I have posted a lot lately.
And....I have found the unicorn thanks to @flax and saved it twice last week!
I am also in CTP now and I have to find some time to start the training.

BTW, I try to stake my CTP tokens daily. I have felt asleep last night and forgotten to do it.

CTP Talk is indeed a very open community and everybody is trying to help each other.
Earning and staking CTP can be very addictive so keep posting.
I'm now following your account. :-)

I have noticed that, yes, you are right!

I was just talking to a friend who is also a newbie in Hive and telling her a few minutes back about CTP. Hopefully, she will engage more in CTP. I made sure to tell her about the unicorn also. Hihi!

I will stake CTP daily and I have to make a good choice for following a curation trail for when I will be gone for a longer period with limited internet access.

I'll be following you back ASAP.

Thank you!
