Extra Energy From New York Power Plant Will Be Used To Mine Bitcoin

Another win for bitcoin mining with renewable energy. A historical hydroelectric power plant based in New York is mining Bitcoin from the excess energy gotten from the plant. They suggested that this method is better and more lucrative compared to selling the extra energy.
The name of the power plant is Mechanicville Power Station. This is the best time for them to mine bitcoin because this is the period a debate to use clean energy to mine bitcoin surfaced. But this doesn’t change anything because the power plant uses clean energy anyways.
More clean energy plants should consider this to make more profitable income with their extra energy. It bothers me that this idea was not thought of initially.
