Rising Star Game: Analyzing Buying cards from market vs Buying booster packs.

Last time I analyzed the RisingStar cards on the market on my post and I concluded that in most of the cases buying booster pack is a beneficial bet. But currently I feel that stats have altered a lot ,let's check.

So I just try to take the least value of the rare cards that you can get from Booster pack.(reason for taking rare card because booster pack guarantees 1 rare card.)

So below is the price list of cards listed in market. For converting swap.hive into starbits, I am using multiplying factor of 2775 .(10000 Starbits for 3.6 swap.hive)

By seeing this data, there are 3 cases out of 20, that your single card will be worth more than booster pack cost. In 11 cases it will at least make more than 50% of your booster cost. there are only 6 case where you might not break even half the value of booster pack.

But note, I have not considered that you might get Epic and Legendary cards in pack, though their probability is slight but still it is dependent on your luck.

For me; I'm buying booster packs and that too when I've earned close to 100K Starbits so that I can leverage the buy option of 12 Booster Packs for 100K starbits. cheers

Thanks for doing the math, I had planned to do something similar because I felt like buying packs might no longer be worth it at the moment. I'll buy cards off the market for now.

yep, Buy packs if you think that you can get lucky with epic or above. My last 12 Booster pack did not yielded any epic and look like Gungunkrishu got one epic in 12 packs.

PS: HBD is in pump, if you have HBD it look great moment to convert it to Hive.
