eBay's Going Crypto and My Hive Hopes For Us All
Recently, in an interview with CNBC, eBay CEO Jamie Iannone revealed that his company is exploring the addition of cryptocurrencies as a new payment option.
Obviously, the popularity of cryptocurrencies is growing and bringing in new growth perspectives for the organizational strategic moves, globally, not just for governments. (Maybe) Thanks to the pioneering Tesla and PayPal, many companies decided to adopt crypto transactions.
For some experts, eBay's plan to add cryptocurrencies as a payment option is no surprise.
"The potential of cryptocurrencies is blinding me, I'm sure it's not just eBay ... other major e-commerce sites will have to accept cryptocurrencies in the near future," said strategist Ryan Dinse.
"If a company misses this opportunity it will be left behind," he added.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in this race have attracted a lot of attention from Wall Street giants and Fortune 500 companies.
This year, Tesla allows customers to pay in BTC when they buy their electric scooter, while PayPal is said to have added crypto trading and holding services.
MasterCard and VISAC's two largest centralized payment processing giants have also entered the cryptographic ecosystem, allowing cryptographic payments and spending through their networks.
Wishful thinking -- I hope next year they will introduce LEO and HIVE.....Is it too much to hope for? How can we achieve that?

That will be so great when eBay also accept crypto, even I want to try to charge my clients payments in cryptocurrency tha way I will have the opportunity to spend more on HP.
It's going to happen soon. Each day counts and that means loosing competitive advantage for them.
I don't sell on ebay but I do buy from ebay and I love their services compared to Amazon. So, if they ever introduce Hive, I don't think I'll be able to put some aside....I love shopping from ebay...
