Can't skimp on security! Great to see the notification bell, I'm seeing complete posts when I click it though is that supposed to happen?

Yes, if I'm understanding you correctly, when you click through it should go to the post or comment, depending on. the type of notification.

If this still seems odd, please post some screen shots, thank you.

Indeed it does, but when I just click the bell to show notifications I see small notifications for comments but also complete posts without clicking through..

Ok, it's hard to capture it since the screen is clogged, that's kind of the problem ;-)

Since I'm mentioned in the post the WHOLE post shows in my notification feed instead of just a snippet. I think it would be better to make it a smaller notification to have an overview you can then select from..

Got it, I now understand what you're referring to. Yes, we will be cutting down the amount of content displayed in notifications. Thanks for the feedback.
