Morgan Stanley Bids To Acquire Crypto Exchange Bithumb

Morgan Stanley allegedly initiated negotiations to buy a major stake in South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb. Morgan Stanley started negotiations with Vident, the largest shareholder of the crypto exchange. Vident owns 10.3% of Bithumb Korea and 34.24% of Bithumb Holdings.

It was also alleged that Morgan Stanley offered about $ 250 million to buy the shares. If the deal is reached, Morgan Stanley will be the first global investment bank to invest in a large cryptocurrency exchange. Morgan Stanley recently announced that it will offer its customers access to three funds to own Bitcoin.

The number of corporate companies interested in cryptocurrencies is increasing day by day.
