JOE CAMEL..... ONE OUNCE SILVER ROUND!πŸ˜€

Hi guys! Silvertop never did smoke, but I picked up this Silver round commissioned by the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company!πŸ˜€

Information on this round has been tough to find other than eBay....

I bought this Silver round in the typical protective plastic holder, and after doing some research I came to find out that there was a certificate of authenticity that came with this Silver round, and also a red velvet pouch!!!

So where is Silvertop's red velvet pouch LOL! πŸ€”πŸ˜‡

So here is what I know....

This was the 80th Anniversary of Camel cigarettes
1913 to 1993
This round is one Ounce .999 fine Silver
This is the only Silver round in my collection that I can confirm that it is .999 fine Silver but......NO markings on the round!πŸ˜³πŸ€”
Silvertop stacks by two rules ...

One ..If you don't hold it you don't own it....
Two... If it's not marked .999 Silver I won't buy it!...

So.....Silvertop bought this when the market was low, back in 2005, and it slipped through the very stringent inspection of Silvertop.......How did that happen LOL!πŸ˜‡

Needless to say I was very happy to find other "Joe Camel " Silver rounds for sale!!

So the scale test... I will call this spot on for the Reverse!!!

For the Obverse we have a winner too!!πŸ€—

The RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company had their fingers in many pies, and this included this Silver round, and also the large publishing company that Silvertop worked at for 23 years! πŸ˜€

We are all so interconnected........

Stack on my friends.....

Silvertop .....Mike!!πŸ˜€

I'd make a great Final Jeopardy answer for Stackers.
Answer, "A round that is 0.999 fine silver without the 0.999 indicated as required by ISO 9001:2015 bullion standards."
Question, "What is a silver Camel Round?"

I don't think mine have have any marks either. Unless they're hidden somewhere.

Interesting....I almost didn't post this because of the lack of mint marks, I am so glad I did and that you have some too my friend!πŸ€—

I've thought of mine as some of my favorite rounds in my collection. Just because I'd never seen any like them except on eBay.

I think that the Joe Camel round is cool! Yours is the second I have seen acquired by a stacker in the community. Indeed, if a round is not stamped with its purity, and unless it is accompanied with a COA you will not know what metal it is. ANd how I wish all mints and foundries put their maker's stamp. Not all do, and we have to research if the mint is reputable or not. Not all my vintage silver bars have the maker's stamp. Thank for sharing this silver round, @silvertop.
Be safe and take care, my friend πŸ₯°πŸŒΊπŸ€™. (PS, sorry for being late in coming to your blog, I usually go to the sgs community page. I did not see this article. It must be that I just missed it.)

So tonight I just read his post with his Camel Silver rounds!!!
I thought I was the only one.....I still wish I could find a small .999 mark somewhere!πŸ˜‡
Take care my friend!!!πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜€

Not that I've seen. But who knows I come across some strange rounds at coin shows.
