MEET THE CRACKS - VOL 8: @Raymondspeaks

Hello LEO-Folks,

today we have the founder of the ManCave and Bro-Fund here in our little series "Meet the Cracks". Spinvest and Brofund are kind of partners in crime, as they share several aspects in their business model and are substantially invested in each other. Ray is around on Steem/HIVE for quite a while and (as the number of followers indicates) is highly active. The number of hold LEO (3534), LBI (3107) and SPI (2747) is somewhat misleading, as all these tokens are in the brofundholdings account. We are very happy that ray took the questionnaire. Lets have a look on his answers.

1. What are your three favorite projects in crypto?

Right now I'm a hive maximalist so my focus is purely on hive and the projects within there. I have four! My four favorite projects on there so far have been Leo, SPI, 3speak and CTPtalk

2. Where do you get your financial information from?

Hardcore experience. I've made a hell of a lot of mistakes in crypto in the past, I think now I'm adept to having a good feel for what will work and what won't. Generally, I just look for movement and building

3. When did you buy your first crypto and what kind of token was it?

Haha. My first experience in crypto was mining Doge way back in 2013, and then after mining Doge I got the itch. My first ever purchase was something called Computer Coin which was announced on bitcointalk. It was a scam of course and I learned my first lesson. The first EVER real coin I ever bought was bitcoin.

4. What crypto did you realize your biggest gain on?

I've only had the luxury of being a bag holder in the last year or so. I've always hustled on crypto to make my living as a side to supplement my mainstream stuff. I rode out the last bear market because I realized the potential gains I could get. Technically I could have been a multi-billionaire already, alas, I had to unwillingly sell to live. But my first ever gain was on LEO. Bought in at around 0.06 Hive, and well, you all know the story with that.

5. What crypto did you realize your biggest loss on?

I've always been a fool of cloud-based mining scams. Not realizing the exponential maths these pyramid schemes require at the time I would funnel all my crypto in for passive income. I lost $6k+ on bitconnect. That's probably been my biggest ever loss. Learned a valuable lesson there though.

6. Who on LEO-finance or HIVE is a real inspiration for you?

Taskmaster4450 without a shadow of a doubt. He was the first person to come in and see us in the man cave and he's given me some project-changing ideas for the better since. He's the one that changed me from an all-over-type-of-guy to understanding that hive is all I need

7. Pick 1 - Which is better? a/BTC only b/ALTs only c/i can't live without both

B Alts. I've always been in the alt game. Always. Bitcoin is great for newbies, and it's a safe bet for anyone wanting to make regular but slow gains, but I like to dance with riskier stuff. I've always been in it for the maximum profit

I personally like the hardcore experience part! It is true that there are some really hard lessons to learn if you are dealing with crypto - especially in a bull market. And we have the second one here on this interview that made some bad experiences with cloud mining. We have to thank Ray for taking the time and giving us some very entertaining insights into his crypto-history.

1. Was sind Deine drei Lieblingsprojekte in der Kryptowelt?

Im Moment bin ich ein Hive-Maximalist, also liegt mein Fokus rein auf Hive und den Projekten darin. Ich habe vier! Meine vier Lieblingsprojekte dort waren bisher Leo, SPI, 3speak und CTPtalk

2. Woher beziehst Du Deine finanziellen Informationen?

Hardcore-Erfahrung. Ich habe in der Vergangenheit verdammt viele Fehler in Krypto gemacht, ich denke, jetzt habe ich ein gutes Gefühl dafür, was funktioniert und was nicht. Generell schaue ich nur nach Bewegung und Aufbau

3. Wann habst Du Deine ersten Krypto gekauft und welche Art von Token war es?

Haha. Meine erste Erfahrung in Krypto war es Doge zu minen in 2013, das mining hat mich gefesselt. Mein allererster Kauf war etwas namens Computer Coin, das auf bitcointalk angekündigt wurde. Es war natürlich ein Betrug und ich habe meine erste Lektion gelernt. Die erste echte Münze, die ich je gekauft habe, war Bitcoin.

4. Mit welcher Kryptowährung hast Du Deinen größten Gewinn erzielt?

Ich habe erst im letzten Jahr oder so den Luxus gehabt, einen großen Crypto-Bag zu halten. Ich habe immer auf Krypto als einen Weg geschaut meinen Lebensunterhalt zu ergänzen und sonst mein Mainstream leben zu führen. Ich habe den letzten Bärenmarkt voll ausgesessen, weil ich die potenziellen Gewinne nicht realisiert bekommen konnte. Technisch gesehen hätte ich bereits ein Multimilliardär sein können, leider musste ich unfreiwillig verkaufen, um zu leben. Aber mein allererster Gewinn war bei LEO. Ich kaufte bei etwa 0,06 Hive ein, und nun, Ihr alle kennt die Geschichte dazu.

5. Mit welcher Kryptowährung hast Du Deinen größten Verlust realisiert?

Ich war immer ein Narr von Cloud-basierten Mining-Betrug. Ich konnte die exponentielle Mathematik dieser Pyramiden Systeme die diese über die Zeit erfordern nicht erkennen und habe alle meine Krypto für passives Einkommen investiert. Ich verlor $6k+ auf Bitconnect. Das war wahrscheinlich mein größter Verlust überhaupt. Es war ein wertvolle Lektion.

6. Wer auf LEO-finance oder HIVE ist eine echte Inspiration für Sie?

Taskmaster4450 ohne den Schatten eines Zweifels. Er war die erste Person, die zu uns in die MenCave kam und hat mir seitdem einige Projekt Ideen gegeben, die diese Projekte zum Besseren veränderten. Er ist derjenige, der mich von einem All-Over-Typ zu dem Verständnis gebracht hat, dass Hive alles ist, was ich brauche.

7. Wähle 1 - Was ist besser? a/BTC nur b/ALTs nur c/ich kann ohne beides nicht leben

B Alts. Ich war schon immer im Alt-Spiel. Schon immer. Bitcoin ist großartig für Neulinge, und es ist eine sichere Wette für jeden, der regelmäßige, aber langsame Gewinne machen will, aber ich tanze gerne mit riskanteren Sachen. Ich war schon immer dabei wenn es um den maximalen Gewinn ging.

Ich persönlich mag den Hardcore-Erfahrungsteil! Es ist wahr, dass es einige wirklich harte Lektionen zu lernen gibt, wenn man sich mit Krypto beschäftigt - besonders in einem Bullenmarkt. Und wir haben hier den zweiten in diesem Interview, der einige schlechte Erfahrungen mit Cloud Mining gemacht hat. Wir danken Ray, dass er sich die Zeit genommen hat und uns einige sehr unterhaltsame Einblicke in seine Krypto-Geschichte gegeben hat.
