Hello, SPIer's. Today we will breakdown the SPinvest fund to show where our funds are currently allocated. I have had a few people ask recently what SPinvest is and when I reply back an investment fund token, they seem to get confused. I tell them to check out the weekly reports but im not sure if people understand them are not. I've tried to make them simple to understand, I rarely change the format to keep it familiar and the SPinvest report is posted every single week, full break down every week for almost 2 years. Im not sure exactly how other investment tokens show earnings and holding but SPinvest is very transparent and for anyone interested, look through our posts history. Every 7 posts is an "earning and holding report" to be viewed.

2 Questions I have been getting asked recently

  • What is SPinvest?
The short answer is it's an investment fund and the long answer is to read through our 600 posts and see what we are about.
    .
  • What is the ROI for SPI tokens?
This question annoys me because it's like asking what's the ROI for Bitcoin. SPI tokens are not dividend tokens, never have been, never will be. In SPI's first year, no dividends were paid. SPI tokens are HODL tokens that increase in value, the weekly dividend is more of a marketing tool than anything, a small kickback to encourage token holders to HODL.

THIS IS WHAT SPINVEST IS

Below is a list of all the holding's belonging to SPinvest. Remember each SPI token equals a 100,000th share of all these holdings. You own 1% of SPI tokens, you own 1% of everything listed below. That simple and transparent. No bullshit or hidden operators fees, I (SSUK) receive a dividend the same as everyone else with SPI tokens that I paid for. I never gifted myself are anyone else 1 single SPI token. If you own SPI tokens, you own a share of an actively managed fund containing a percentage of everything listed below. This is what SPinvest is...

Not bad considering we raised a total of around 80,000 HIVE worth $13,000-$15000 for the 100,000 tokens we issued. Hard-capped I might add. The LP's we hold are worth more than that today and LP's we hold represent only 6% of SPinvest's holdings. So,..BOOM. wrap your head around that.

SPinvest is.....

  • the first true investment fund token on HIVE
  • the first HIVE token to use POH (Proof of holding) to distribute rewards
  • the first fund token to create subsidiaries
  • the first fund token to collaborate with another HIVE fund
  • and the first HIVE token to dip into venture capitalism through tribe funding

We own/control......

  • 7% of Brofund
  • 4% of Utopis
  • 10% of VIBES in circulation
  • 10% of VIBESM
  • 7% of CINE in circulation
  • 3.6% of all LEO in circulation
  • 0.0054% of all HIVE in circulation
  • $506,932 of funds under management

SPI's tokens have from launch......

  • increased in HIVE value by x3.9 (was over 8 HIVE before HIVE mooned)
  • increased in dollar value by 18x
  • earned 31,595 HIVE
  • paid out 10,430 HIVE worth in dividends

What is the future for SPinvest?

To see the future, we must look into the past. Let us have a look and see what SPinvest has created in around 20 months. We started with 1 account and 1 idea, Get rich slowly. Build a solid foundation to work from, build streams of incomes to ensure if 1 boat sinks, the fleet survives and create useful subsidiary projects that added value to the HIVE eco-system and SPinvest's holding/earnings. Here is what we've created so far.

So, looking at what has been created over the past 20 months, what do you think SPinvest will be in another 20 months? are 5 years? You still think it's too late to invest in SPI and you've missed the boat? If you think yes, your a fool and I'll show you why. Come back in 2 years and check the lastest weekly earnings and holding report and you'll see why.

2 years your thinking?

Rome was not made in a day are 6 months my friend and results came from consistent grinding and innovation. SPinvest has way more connections, resources and influence than it did 20 months back. Were do you think a project like SPinvest is headed? Up are down?

Ok, I understand that SPinvest has not done anything amazing. We've banded together a few HIVE users to run a few accounts, we invest off-platform and have created a few subsidiary projects that anyone could have created. Big whoop, right?

Nah, cause nobody is doing what SPinvest is doing on HIVE. We are everywhere and into anything. As SPinvest's reputation increase's, new opportunities that are not available to general HIVE users are pitched to us. We are always adding new streams of income, compounding down investments, venturing into new investments, always doing something, always thinking of new idea's are partnerships that could be created, always consistent and open, always sticking to the plan and planning ahead 5-10 years, always learning and always prepared.

If you never knew about SPinvest and it's SPI token, I hope you understand I little more now.

A good explanation, I still desire to hold at least 100 of them,it is a slow roll to get there with other tings in the fire also, but still actively buying when I can. It took me a little bit to catch on to the system, but I am up 31 now, so slow and steady progress, maybe at the two year mark I will have my 100 SPI.

We are everywhere and into anything.

This is what I love about SPinvest. I first joined SPI at its inception and I had very little crypto knowledge and few resources (still lacking in both BTW, lol). I saw it as a way to at least have a small portion of what might turn into a big thing. So far I have not been disappointed. :)

Have you considered building/buying a Splinterlands deck and letting a bot run it for DEC and loot chest rewards?

Additionally, @Klye is working on a hive loans protocol (?) which could be forked to take possession of a borrower's NFT collection (Splinterlands, dCity, etc.), Ideally the collection would still function as normal, with proceeds either paying on the principle or withheld until payoff.

And finally, I get the hodl incentive, but I enjoy the drips, also. It would be nice if they were slightly more evenly distributed.

The Hive.Loans site is actually going to be built utilizing smart contracts running on a new HIVE sidechain called Hive Smart Chain (HSC). HSC will be focused around a truly decentralized Byzantine Fault Tolerant Bonded Proof of Stake hybrid consensus structure which will allow for HIVE to be bonded or "powered up" in a fashion similar how it is done now on the HIVE network, but instead of the Bonded HSC HIVE acting to fuel your blog votes it instead will unlock your ability to produce HSC blocks, which when produced will result in the miner being awarded majority of the HIVE gas fees of the HSC network.

The plan is to build a number of cross side chain and cross blockchain bridges to provide atomic and plasma style cross chain asset interoperability. Which is basically a fancy way of saying that the HSC will be able to basically support any sort of ERC-20, ERC-721 or any other external ETH, BnB, etc etc protocols provided a bridge on the target network in question is implemented by a 3rd party or your own devs. Collateralization of other asset types is certainly something that can and will be in the future.

The sidechain will act as a gateway hub between our own side chain projects here on HIVE but also for external chains as well using custom or IBC cross platform bridge modules as well as with smart contracts contracts depending on the asset type.

The HE stuff will be bridged quite early on with HSC and Hive.Loans is going to include some additional code I'll not be using personally but that will enable usage of other token types to run on the site.
