Leodex Monthly Burn Report | Over 10x Growth In Fees Burned This Month!
Last month we announced that all tokens listed on the Leodex would share in a pool generated by the fees collected by the @leodex STEEM==>STEEMP gateway. The community response to this implementation was fantastic and the number of listed tokens has grown by a factor of 50% (from 8 listed tokens to 12 listed tokens) since that report.
As we also predicted, the usage of @leodex has grown immensely alongside it. Although, we didn't expect this high of growth in such a short period of time.
When we first launched the gateway to deposit/withdraw STEEMP, it didn't get that much traction. That's to be expected as many people still haven't even heard of https://dex.steemleo.com. The fees for the first month of operation were 32.739 STEEM.
The fees collected this month.... 345.797 STEEM. A 1000% increase! Looks like community members in various listed tokens have taken a liking to the fact that the fees from their transfers are benefiting their hodlings.

It's a Good Time to Be Listed on LeoDex!
Some users have said that we should increase the listing fee over time. (currently 2,000 LEO sent to @null). We haven't yet decided on this, but we may implement some sort of fee increase periodically. We'll announce it before any official changes are made. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on this, feel free to drop a comment below.
How to Use The @leodex Gateway:
Using @leodex to exchange STEEM for STEEMP or vice versa is super simple. Either use the Deposit or Withdraw buttons within your Wallet page on https://dex.steemleo.com or simply send a STEEM (or STEEMP) transfer to @leodex (no memo required).
The current limits are displayed on the site. If your deposit/withdraw is over a few hundred STEEM(P) then someone from the SteemLeo team has to hit a button to confirm the transfer (we usually confirm these manual transfers within 5-10 minutes).
How to List Your Token on LeoDex:
This burn perk applies to all tokens listed on LeoDex both now and in the future. If you'd like to list your token on https://dex.steemleo.com, then just send 2,000 LEO to @null and then contact us on Discord.

That’s some pretty sweet growth especially considering the almighty BTC has been on a downward trend! This community really is into supporting crypto and trying new things regardless and why I think it’s such a great place to launch a project

yeah we are making some progress. This is just the start too. Leodex is only 2 months old. V3 is going to change the game.

Yeah the ad revenue generated by steemleo.com and dex.steemleo is used for 100% burns of LEO.
