Using technology to save time/labor is great as long as we then do something with all the time we saved. Perhaps people will focus more on family relationships, real friendships, true research and thinking about important ideas...Although there will always be a place for real work with one's own hands. As a teacher, I know brain development is different (and not always better) for kids who live most of their lives virtually. I make them draw, run, read real books, write, cook, sew, etc. to be sure their brains are not lopsided--and that they could survive if they lost wi-fi for a day, week, or month. !BEER
