Summit of the Americas Invitation ✅
I told you I was going to get that invite, nothing is more important to me than making sure some blockchain freedoms remain.
There is still time to apply for those who have an interest in these kinds of things. I've written extensively about my experience at the Youth Forum if you're curious about what it entails.
Gotta be real though, I was rather disappointed when I learned the organizers don't intend to help attendees financially. On one hand, they're telling us that they mean to incentivize trade and inclusion, on the other hand we are told we are going to have to figure everything out ourselves.
I will be reaching out to the United Nations Development Programme to see if by chance they'd be able to help out some with traveling accommodations as they have done in the past for similar events.
If you're into crypto and you're not getting involved in policy-making then what are you even doing?
Video testing was done today but my first presentation for the Summit is on May 16th, on May 17th they have that Metaverse event for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Things start getting interesting in June, birthday on the first week, Summit from 8-9, and Al Gore's event will be held 11-13, recruiting convention 14-15, and wedding anniversary last week of the month.
Having to do all these events on my dime, spending time away from family, having to smile for pictures I don't necessarily want to smile for, hold that poker face when someone is talking about things you don't agree with...it's a hard job, seeing my time taken up like this is making me seriously rethink the degree to which I wish to become involved.
Seeing how I dislike politics it's a hard situation to be in...but it would be way tougher witnessing how all these years of crypto development go to waste thanks to restrictive regulation.
