Staking and reflecting on the future of LeoFinance 🐯!
Dear Lions, Dear CUB HODLers,
This morning while drinking my coffee on a terrasse I was reflecting about leofinance.io .
The Blogging platform
The platform per se is well done, it functions perfectly and there are bug fixes and updates regularly. In addition as we learned during the past AMAs, there is a developer focusing only on the development of the UI and other things that could get added to leofinance.
I have a lot of optimisim for leofinance.io and continued to increase my stake through Powering up and Buying some on leodex.io
The Content
As we spend a lot of time there, we learned to know each others and the different topics covered.
We have bloggers writing about the Leofinance / Cub ecosystem; some are writing about other blockchains completely different (Thorchain, Solana, Travala), some are focusing on more traditional finance blogs and finally some are doing personal development posts.
I believe the diversity of topics is one of our strongest value proposition.
Nevertheless, it seems that lately we have been talking a lot about "us" meaning our ecosystem and much less about the entire cryptospace or more general topics.
Don't get me wrong, I do not see this as a negative but if we aim to be a truly crypto and finance decentralized community, we should aim to bring bloggers and readers from everywhere and as I scrool through the main posts, it seems we mostly talk about Hive, LEO and CUB.
I have clearly fallen into this habit as it is the content that our current user base is looking for.
This is also a personal reflection as I aim to improve and try to broaden my articles to try to reach out of our confort zone.

Leo coin has a great future and I see it going up steadily. Leo deals with finance and crypto which revolves around our daily lives.
Indeed, it needs to keep interactions high and to bring new users.

Yeah sometimes we focus a lot on internal activities but I think that's mostly because most of us are only familiar with things happening here and aren't overly exposed.
For example, I am exclusively invested in Cubfinance and so if I ever want to talk about Defi, you can be certain that I will probably talk about Cub. It is the same with many people who have 100% of their investment within Hive and the ecosystem.
I think what we could do is try to attract people over here. There a lot of dope authors on Publish0x that could be very useful to Leo community. Other than there, we could go through Torum and many other spots with crypto enthusiasts to bring them over

Sorry for the alte reply, I have been quite busy. I understand and it is normal that we feel more comfortable talking about our projects and shilling them.
But for an outsider or just someone wishing to stay inform about the global cryptomarket, I believe he would not understand why leofinance is mostly talking about itself.
As for Publish0x, as you said, they are really talking about EVERYTHING happening out there, which makes it a valuable place.
Let's thrive to continue talking about Leofinance stuff and more global crypto topics I guess ;)

Bring back the daily crypto news :)
Ask the Hive users who censored me when I was posting them. For them it was of no value so they thought it should be worth 0$. Bullies are going to be bullies I guess
The LEO space? It will take me a lot more research and interest in writing financial articles to dive into your frontend
I find it difficult to do it, but somewhere in my heart, I know that I can learn
Isn't the world a crazy place? Someone is looking for ways to get into a particular space by learning be the tune of their music, and the one who is already there, and well vested is asking for a change or a tweak 🥺
Of course LEO will do well because we got Cub Finance and also Project Blank in the works. But I am not sure when the project blank will be released since it seems to be a coding nightmare.

I believe they said in a previous AMA that the functions for a social media like Twitter requires quite a few changes to how they process the block chain so it got pushed back quite a bit.

I imagine there are so many things to double check to prevent bots / spammers or rewards thieves I guess.
I hope they will manag it well as they only have one "first impression" ;)

Staking in Leo now is the best move to make because the whole system will soon be on a greater level.
Cub and leofinance team is actually working tiredness in other to bring about effective change and make the ecosystem stronger than it is now.

CUB FINANCE's DeFi platform looks interesting, however there are some very fierce competitors. hard to think that all the DeFi projects out there now have a great future. Some of these could go out in 2 or 3 years
Clearly. Even less. Some don’t even last 3 days as their tokenomics suck
