Vitalik Buterin Donates More Than $1bn Crypto Assets to Help Covid Relief Efforts in India

So world's youngest crypto billionaire and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has made donation worth more than $1bn worth crypto to to a COVID-19 relief fund in India. The donation consisting 500 ETH and over 50 trillion SHIB(a meme coin) is one of the largest-ever individual philanthropist contribution.

As the news of donation became public the price of SHIB dropped by 40% due to speculation of a massive sell of by relief agency who received the donation.

To handle the situation Sandeep Nailwal representing the beneficiary non-profit organization ensured SHIB investors community that they will act responsibly and there will not be a massive SHIB dumping.

But if that's true, most of the donation will not be available immediately to help the covid relief efforts. With SHIB coin's price fluctuating, the donation might end up being way less than the intended amounts.
