Today I will participate in this initiative proposed by @rutablockchain and supported by @onealfa.leo, it consists of talking about our experience in hyperinflation, especially us Venezuelans who are living with it for some time, I want to invite to participate @lisfabiana, @elizabeths14,
@josebenavente and @Maleidamarcano to participate in this wonderful initiative, to participate I leave the Link.

- What is the hardest part of living in hyperinflation?

The most difficult part has been the food part, because before we could buy food at a regulated price and the salary was above the basic basket, not only was it enough to buy food but to indulge ourselves in buying trinkets, eating in the street and even buying appliances and clothes, I remember when I had my first job, not only was it enough to buy clothes and shoes, but food in restaurants, it gave me a good life, today a basic salary is enough to buy maybe half a kilo of flour, since the minimum wage is at 640. 000bs, this is like 0.35$. who can live with that. Money depreciates very fast from today to tomorrow is another price, the dollar increases and everything depreciates.

That is why there is a lot of hunger in the country and many people with levels of malnutrition, both in children, adults and the elderly, because although there is food in the country not everyone has the money to buy it.

- What do I learn from this situation?

This situation has encouraged me to look for new ways of improvement, in my case I do not work for anyone for any salary, I have learned to be an entrepreneur, I have reinvented myself in many ways exploiting the talent that God has given me, a long time ago I invested in commercial premises and today this is an income since I rent them and monthly I get a remuneration for it, Although I can say that this is no longer enough, I also sell handicrafts and jewelry that I made myself and in good time I met #Hive is an extra income that has allowed me and my family to give us some treats that we could not before, so I always thank God because in the midst of the circumstances has provided us and we have never lacked.

I have also learned to make the most of the food and spend what is necessary, I am not saying that many times we have not gone over the budget, but we have tried to keep it.

What was the trigger for hyperinflation in your country?

It is very true that the country has had a bad financial administration and those in the government have illegally enriched themselves by bankrupting the country, many companies were expropriated and those companies have never achieved the supply, some of them are even bankrupt.

I can say with propriety since I worked in a food company that many times the food expired and the executives knew that it was going to expire and they let it expire, because they had their own business to sell to animal food companies, and like this many other things to enrich those of the elite, while the people queued up to buy food that was running out.

In addition to those who resold products, the so-called "bachaqueros", corruption is still destroying the country.

-What advice would you give to a foreigner who is going to start experiencing hyperinflation in his country?

stock1863880_1920.jpg
Fuente
The first advice is to invest in stocks, cryptocurrencies, invest in what you can, that will generate profit, invest in #Hive, this would be the first advice, the time to invest is now, many of us think that since we do not know the Cryptocurrencies and they are digital this is not good business, but it is proven by many people that today they are the rebound for an investor, and if you do not know how to use it I recommend watching videos on Youtube there are many good explanations to start investing.

The second advice is that if you see a socialist government, try as much as possible to get out of that government at all costs, because it is proven that what it brings is ruin and misery to a country.

- How do HIVE and Leofinance help people living in hyperinflation?

Since I entered #Hive and #Leofinance what it has brought to my life are blessings, allowing me and my little family to have a better quality of life because even with the various jobs we do not reach us, Hive came into our lives to stay, and my whole family has decided to invest time and our talents in Hive, I can say that now most of my expenses are paid with Hive and leo, for me now is my main source of income, I continue investing in them and making power up to increase my voting power on this platform.

Now I am hungry to learn more and more every day in cryptocurrencies, hive and everything that has to do with Blockchain.

Without more to say, just a piece of advice, it is never too late to learn and to undertake, so do what you like the most and make it an incessant habit that will allow you and your family to live in fullness.

The world is changing and we can't stay behind, we have to know how to invest.

Thanks for reading, see you in a future publication, blessings!

I appreciate your perspective, I understand that Venezuela was one of the wealthiest developed countries in South America before the hyperinflation. When would you say things were 'normal' and when did you realize they were beginning to get out of control? Was there a specific time you went to the store and realized that you didn't have enough money or that your goods were way too expensive? You mentioned that when you started working you were able to earn enough for a good life, and now only enough for a small bag of flour. What were the biggest warning sign of things to come?

A greeting thank you for reading, they were normal when the Venezuelan could still buy their food and basic products with their salary, things started badly after the arrival of socialism, many did not want to see it but that was the root of all evils, worsened when the current president came to power there was no price control and everything got out of hand.

Suddenly one was gradually realizing that one could no longer acquire the same as before, but we were leaving it, today it went up a little and we were passing it, until the time came when the household economy was unsustainable.

The signs were the changing prices every week, the dollar here was quoted at 1$=4,3bs a day, it began to rise every month, then every week and now it is daily twice a day, today the dollar is at 1$= 1.792.532 at that price yesterday afternoon, in the morning it was another price, and that is why the changing prices in the stores every day.
Another sign is the queues to buy, the expropriations, among other things.

Espero poder participar.

Saludos amiga @yolimarag!
