I sit here in awe. You are too good at keeping your audience on their toes. Life to me is woven around suffering and glimpses of joy here and there and this feels like it.
On one hand, exploration and curiosity were overwhelming a young soul somewhere in a far away village. As the reader, I obviously wanted him to leave and find whatever it is that he was so badly thirsting over. On the other hand, his return home is too heavy and my mixed reactions are dancing with the uncertainties of life. The consequences of his leaving will cripple anyone's spirit but then again, face them he must!

Indeed, we don't know what we leave behind when we do leave in pursuit of our dreams and sometimes, when we return, no matter how things remain the same, they are not.
