CUARENTA Y TRES ANIVERSARIO DE BUDARE Y LEÑA EN CONCIERTO. [Esp / Eng]

El amanecer se mostró sobre el cerro una iluminación fluorescente, los variados colores están paradisiacos. Ese foco de luz es impresionante, me lo leo y me sorprendo por la impresión que produce en el interior de mi alma. Sí, esto me relaja y me entrego a sentir la paz de mi espíritu. Esta ceremonia con el afloramiento del sol sobre la mañana es ritual que no necesita protocolos. Me ubico en una silla a esperar que aparezcan las luminosas líneas de colores y siempre me encuentro con la novedad. Todos los días en el alba se presenta algo diferente y hermoso. Con cada respiración suave y profunda, la innovada aurora me regala un evento paisajístico que impresiona mi sensibilidad humana.

The dawn showed itself on the hill a fluorescent illumination, the varied colours are paradisiacal. This light is impressive, I read it to myself and I am surprised by the impression it makes on my inner soul. Yes, it relaxes me and I give myself to feel the peace of my spirit. This ceremony with the rising of the sun in the morning is a ritual that needs no protocol. I sit on a chair and wait for the luminous lines of colour to appear and I always find something new. Every day at dawn something different and beautiful presents itself. With each soft, deep breath, the innovative dawn gives me a scenic event that impresses my human sensibility.

Me paro de la silla y me ocupo en la cocina de preparar el desayuno, unas arepas de maíz amarillo, me agrada el sabor a maíz. La masa la mezclo con ajonjolí, linaza, orégano, sin sal porque no saturo de sal los alimentos, con el acompañamiento del queso blanco que tiene la pizca de sal es suficiente para el desayuno. Lo acompaño con sancochado y café artesanal de Biscucuy, esta comunidad del estado Portuguesa, colinda en su frontera con Boconó, estado Trujillo, es una región cafetalera muy importante de Venezuela. Bueno, me desayuno bien temprano a las seis de la mañana porque la agenda del día, es asistir a la celebración del cuarenta y tres aniversario de la agrupación Budare y Leña, es un evento programado para las once de la mañana en el Teatro Municipal de Valencia.

I get up from my chair and get busy in the kitchen to prepare breakfast, some yellow corn arepas, I like the taste of corn. I mix the dough with sesame seeds, linseed, oregano, without salt because I don't saturate the food with salt, and the white cheese with a pinch of salt is enough for breakfast. I accompany it with parboiled and handmade coffee from Biscucuy, this community in the state of Portuguesa, on the border with Boconó, Trujillo state, is a very important coffee-growing region in Venezuela. Well, I have breakfast very early at six in the morning because the agenda for the day is to attend the forty-third anniversary celebration of the Budare y Leña group, an event scheduled for eleven in the morning at the Teatro Municipal de Valencia.

Mi hija Irina la invité con mi nieto Alejandro para que conozca el Teatro. Voy a su habitación, la llamo.
–Irina, vámonos para el Teatro Municipal, despierta a Alejandro. Ella levantó el brazo y movió el dedo índice dando la señal inmediata que no se va a parar. Veo al muchachito que está estirando los huesos, se parece a una iguana por lo flaco, está creciendo. No se mueven más, están como unas morsas. Quedan inmóviles.
–Yo me voy solo para el concierto. Ella saca la mano derecha destacando el dedo pulgar y lo oculta en la cobija.
¡Así es! Me lancé a la avenida a buscar el transporte para quedarme en el centro de la ciudad de Valencia. Me trepo a un autobús.

I invited my daughter Irina and my grandson Alejandro to visit the theatre. I go to her room, I call her.
–Irina, let's go to the Municipal Theatre, wake up Alejandro. She raised her arm and waved her index finger, giving the immediate signal that she was not going to stand up. I see the little boy stretching his bones, he looks like an iguana because he's so skinny, he's growing. They don't move any more, they're like walruses. They remain motionless.
–I'm going alone for the concert. She sticks out her right hand with her thumb standing out and hides it in the blanket.
That's right! I run into the avenue to look for transport to stay in the centre of Valencia. I jump on a bus.

–Buenos días. Saludos al colector, al chofer y a los pasajeros. Es domingo la avenida Bolívar está calmada, la movilización vehicular esta es poca. La brisa es fresca. Rápidamente, llegamos al centro de valencia. Me apeo del vehículo.
–Muy amables, que pasen un buen día. Me dirijo hasta la plaza Sucre a ingresar temprano al Teatro.
–Buenos días, pase adelante, ya va a comenzar el concierto. Soy recibido amablemente por los empleados del Teatro, penetro el interior del edificio, es una arquitectura muy especial, tiene un mantenimiento normal, los baños están impecables, es la lectura de la administración del Teatro. Me ubico por los balcones, el patio central está repleto.

–Good morning. Greetings to the collector, the driver and the passengers. It is Sunday, Bolivar Avenue is calm, there is little movement of vehicles. The breeze is cool. Quickly, we arrive in the centre of Valencia. I get out of the vehicle.
–Very kindly, have a nice day. I go to the Plaza Sucre to enter the theatre early.
–Good morning, come in, the concert is about to start. I am received kindly by the employees of the Theatre, I enter the interior of the building, it is a very special architecture, it has a normal maintenance, the bathrooms are impeccable, it is the reading of the administration of the Theatre. I find my way through the balconies, the central courtyard is full.

Sale el presentador del Concierto, Euclides Rojas, saluda al público que ocupa la arquitectura del edificio, presenta la primera parte del programa con una muestra de la geografía del Joropo venezolano y sus variantes, están en el escenario varios maestros de los instrumentos musicales, cuatros y bandolas: con los géneros de bandola oriental y la bandola llanera se proyectan las voces llaneras, con un pajarillo; el joropo oriental con un cotorreado. Un recital de cuatro y bandola por extraordinarios maestros de acá de la región Carabobeña. Seguidamente, las Danzas de Mariara con un elenco extraordinario hacen una gala de muy buen nivel, se prepararon porque no van a perder esta especial oportunidad de celebrar el aniversario de los cuarenta años De Budare y Leña.

The presenter of the concert, Euclides Rojas, greets the audience that occupies the architecture of the building, presents the first part of the programme with a sample of the geography of Venezuelan Joropo and its variants, several masters of musical instruments, cuatros and bandolas are on stage: with the genres of oriental bandola and the bandola llanera, the voices of the llaneras are projected, with a pajarillo; the oriental joropo with a cotorreado. A recital of cuatro and bandola by extraordinary masters from the Carabobeña region. Afterwards, the Danzas de Mariara with an extraordinary cast perform a gala of a very good level, they prepared themselves because they are not going to miss this special opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of De Budare y Leña.

Continúa Euclides Rojas presentando a la agrupación de Tambor con un repertorio extraordinario del acervo ancestral de la cultura afrodescendiente de la región central de Venezuela. Aquí acompañan artistas que se acercaron a festejar con júbilo este aniversario. El paraninfo se bañó de música con la ejecución y los cantos de los artistas afrodescendientes. Me quedo estupefacto por la calidad de este evento. Reflexiono, esta sociedad tan arraigada y caracterizada como goda, no tengo más que pensar este Teatro es una parranda de negros, las mujeres de voluminosos glúteos, bailan con el sabor y la sensibilidad que les ordena el ritmo del tambor. El público del patio central bailó en todo momento todos los géneros musicales que allí se presentaron. En el repertorio se destacó el calypso del Callao.

Euclides Rojas continues presenting the Tambor group with an extraordinary repertoire of the ancestral heritage of the Afro-descendant culture of the central region of Venezuela. Here they are accompanied by artists who came to celebrate this anniversary with joy. The auditorium was bathed in music with the performance and singing of the Afro-descendant artists. I am astounded by the quality of this event. I reflect, this society is so deeply rooted and characterised as goda, I can only think that this theatre is a parranda of blacks, the women with voluminous buttocks, dance with the flavour and sensitivity that the rhythm of the drum commands. The audience in the central courtyard danced at all times to all the musical genres presented there. The Callao calypso was a highlight of the repertoire.

El evento culmina con la entrega de certificados a las personalidades artística de la agrupación Budare y Leña, con un ameno sentimiento de aplausos por parte del público presente como recompensa de la labor desempeñada promoviendo las costumbres y tradiciones populares venezolanas.
Yo disfruté en los balcones derechos e izquierdos, eso lo hice como una experiencia, para vivir la arquitectura de los espacios del Teatro. Una maravilla de domingo, es inolvidable. Salgo y me encuentro con amistades. Nos saludamos. Nos tomamos algunas fotos. Me despido de este precioso concierto de música nacional venezolana.

The event culminated with the presentation of certificates to the artistic personalities of the Budare y Leña group, with a warm feeling of applause from the audience as a reward for the work carried out in promoting Venezuelan popular customs and traditions.
I enjoyed myself in the right and left balconies, which I did as an experience, to experience the architecture of the theatre's spaces. A wonderful Sunday, it is unforgettable. I go out and meet friends. We greet each other. We take some photos. I say goodbye to this beautiful concert of Venezuelan national music.
