The Return of the Prodigal Blogger

(Edited)

The last time I was here, I was a young medical student in the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I'm still young lol, but that just might be the only thing that has remained constant through the past months.

The real reason I stopped blogging was because I felt I wasn't providing much value on this space. (If you feel the same way after scrolling through my wall I won't be mad 🙂.) I used to read through people's posts, amazed at how much they knew, and how well they could organise their thoughts and put them in the full glare of the public. And even though I knew that it was all from consistency and thorough research, plus a good deal of passion, I still felt like I just didn't have what it took.

Like I lacked whatever gene coded for talent or creativity. Lol 😅

Fast forward to now. Earlier today I looked at some of my old blog posts and instead of cringing, I was amused. It's almost unreal how different things are now. I'm not a badass writer or anything just yet, but there are improvements that I can't wait to show off here.

It feels good to be on #hive already. As I proceed to familiarise myself with the lingua of this environment, I look forward to following/being followed by more great minds. I hope to learn from everyone as well as provide helpful information too as often as possible.

And, oh, did I tell y'all I'm a doctor now??? 👩‍⚕️💉💃💃💃

Welcome back to the platform @ericaa, it sounds like you've been on the hustle. Congratulations on becoming a doctor!

I know what you mean about the writing and feeling you mentioned. Luckily there isn't a requirement for what you need to share with the community and you can just do your thing and find your groove. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for your blog now you're back.
