My philosophy on entrepreneurial concepts implemented in art / music

My today's thoughts went straight to this vast spectrum of the entrepreneurial concepts implemented in art / music and how they might help every artist to improve his life through his craft ...

There are some basic concepts that i've realized some of the greatest entrepreneurs from the Past were implementing inside their lives ...

I am not saying that some contemporary ones are not implementing these concepts in their lives as well, but somehow this concept of today's trending of "just say it, sell it ... no matter what ... " has a dominant factor of influence inside of our society, especially on this very present one, that somehow is developing right in front of our eyes, in such a musical tempo that you almost feel like it passed 330 bpm on metronome ...

I've discovered some similarities between the art of being an entrepreneur and the true meaning of being an artist ... but somewhere in the middle of the path, inside a musician's life, something's more chaotic than the chaos part of an entrepreneur's life ... at least from some angles of perception ...

One of the major rules that i've realized that an entrepreneur can apply much easier than an artist is regarding the way they are managing their "craft" to be used in a way, that in most of the situations, this will reflect to the entire society, the fact, that, to claim to be paid for your talants/talents/crafts, it requires to filter this concept, and not to let the illusory wave of this matrix to keep implementing this idea of " I have claim to be paid for what I know and not for what I do with what I know" ...

This is one of the most common' thing i've seen inside the musical world, people that have studied a conservatory, and they've got a job inside an orchestra, which in most of the cases it's paid by the mayor hall, or it's affiliated to the cultural institutes from their country, and they are expecting to receive their payments only because they've studied that instrument and they just play it ...

This World, especially the New World that's developing right now will not invest in music/culture anymore, just for the fact that art/culture should be treated like an entrepreneurial job ...

This world will like to pay those artists who will do something with what they know on their instrument ...

Maybe that's why a lot of philarmonic halls out there were disolved in the last years, because they've became something that does not prove that, with what they know, they will change the world with that "knowledge" ... Maybe it's like in the case of cover music ... people started to get bored from the same classical music menu, especially when some of the orchestras out there have started to treat music like a factory job ... " I am entering at work at 9 am ... at 10:30 am i would like a break, and after that maybe at 11:15 we'll start the second part of the rehearsal and at 1 pm we shall be done" ... and we shall have only one concert per week if it's possible ...

That's why the art has lost its glimpse, that ancestral sparkle ...

Since, classical music started to act and treat music like a factory job ... and not only this category inside the vast music space ... there are also big-bands ... or even jazz bands that disolved just for the fact that at least one member or two have started to treat everything like a job ...

When, an entrepreneur and an artist will start to leave out from the equation the next factor that we'll talk about as a next golden rule ... the EGO, AND, will change the world or the community at least, they are living in, through their artistical crafts ... Now, that's gonna' be the changer for everyone, including themselves ...

And, as we know, and the most important fact, WE see this aspect ... is that, the World is at the boarder of a major failure regarding the economic and the cultural aspect, both, from an entrepreneurial and artistical perspective ...

Something to reflect on ...

Now, the next important factor i've mentioned above, is the eternal EGO ...

In an entrepreneurial world, a true leader won't expect any honors for himself, when in fact the entire team of the company, worked hard behind the main scene ... when in fact he would encourage everyone from that department to work harder, and congrats them all ... 'cause at the end of the day or of an year, that salary premium will arrive, but the most emotional and motivational thing is that kick, that jump start that those phrases from the leader can generate inside everyone's soul and mind and will stimulate them to improve in the Future, to come with better ideas ... based on what they ... so, remember the first aspect? " being paid for what I do with what I know, and not just for what I know ..."

In music, it's very hard ... everyone is trying to put the stamps only on themselves ...

They are forgetting that " there's place for everyone ..."

I don't think Bach would had somehting against Mozart ... or Mozart would had something against Beethoven ... or against Mahler ... or Debussy ...

Everyone knows, especially when you'll start to become like a Jedi in Music ... that each soul within the matrix of art it's an inspiration and an important link for the next eons of generations that will arrise inside this World ...

Sometimes, even those who are good examples on how not to do the things are still good links inside the chain of what we can life ... no matter if it's an entrepreneurial or artistical one ...

Maybe one of the third concept, no matter if it's in the entrepreneurial field or on art, is the loyalty ... First of all the loyalty to yourself, to believe in what you are creating, AND, if what you are doing, you feel that it has that sacred touch, it means that you've surpassed the previous two ones ...

I've seen so many times, some of my fellow musicians quitting their craft through music, and especially through these times right now, there's a big percentage of them that will quit ...

Sometime ago, i would have been shocked to take a cab in NY, and to find out that the driver was studying at some prestigious jazz music school, but he quit, because he couldn't make it ...

This fact gave me something to reflect on, and, exactly now, while we all are witnessing this massive historical experiment through which this society must pass, and which will be the major shifting process of the entire world ... that most of the people out there, no matter if they are entrepreneurs or musicians, they cannot adapt in most of the cases, so they collapse ... first mentally and after that they will fall some steps bellow their expectances and will end up being something that from that moment on, will not bring them joy when they will look in the mirror ...

That's happening with musicians as well,

Some jazz musicians would like to play "only" be-bop music ... and, in my humble artistic opinion that was a jazz sub-genre, that revolutionized that world of the 40's - 50's ... but you cannot imitate those times, 'cause even the smell of coffee from that period is not anymore the same with the present one ... at the end of the day you'll might be just a copy of Charlie Parker ...

Each period of time had it's own Renaissance Era ... even if it was a time frame of 5 years, therefore, even right before our very own eyes, through this artistical entrepreneurial movement around the entire World, or even the entire Matrix, Galaxies ... we are assisting to a totally New Renaissance Era but this time in an encrypted format ...

Meanwhile,

Relax like my buddy Jedi Yoda, near to the fireplace, along with The Golden Father of Time and the famous robot from the Order of D2R2 Knights ... disguised now in a Halloween Knight ...
