How To Make A Rope Yourself...!!!

Dear Hivers

When you are in a survival situation, the need for a rope is more than clear. It can help you to overcome many obstacles and thus facilitate your tasks, as well as save you a lot of time. If you do not have one on hand, you can easily make one using the plants around you.

Remember that plant ropes are used when they are still wet and tough. When they dry, they become brittle and can cause many problems, as well as be the cause of serious injuries!

Plants from which you can get fiber:

Nettle - one of the most common plants in nature can be an ideal helper in survival. Choose the largest and oldest plants. Leave them in water overnight, then pound them with a smooth object.

In this way you will reach the threadlike interior. Remove the fleshy remnants from the stem. Allow, with a stick, the fibers and hang them to dry slightly so that they are not slippery. From them you can braid threads, and from the threads strong enough ropes.

Tree bark - tree bark often contains threads like nettles. One tree that will work for you is the willow. Use young trees to have the strongest and strongest threads.

Leaves and roots - from the shallow and young roots of the trees you can find suitable short strings with which to make, for example, your shelter or attach your knife to a stick to make a spear to secure your dinner. The leaves of the lily and aloe vera also contain threads from which you can make strong and strong ropes. The preparation procedure is the same as for nettles.
