Greetings @reeta, maybe that's why the saying "when there is blood in the streets buy property" although certainly when it comes to cryptocurrencies there is a lot of uncertainty, those price drops that terrify many are the time to buy for others, being risky sometimes has its benefits, good thing your investment at that time paid off.

You are absolutely correct and when everything is ready in the market then I believe that is the right time to buy crypto however it could be risky but if things goes well then there is possibility for bigger returns
