Earn Helium Tokens Through Mining

The price of Helium tokens has certainly increased that led to many taking note of this project.

They claimed to provide The People’s Network and anyone can earn HNT by providing Hotspots for wireless network coverage through its low energy usage Hotspot miner.

According to my understanding, the previous version of miner cost around $495 so the new batches of miners are certainly a lot cheaper.

This new hotspot miner can be set-up within minutes using our smartphone with a low power usage of only 5W. Managing the hotspots can be done through its mobile app.

It also claimed that it would not affect our internet quality and bandwidth as well as low consummation of our internet data.

Some of the factors that can affect the earning of Helium tokens like the need for multiple hotspots at least 300 m around out area. With single hotspot, we would be unable to participate in Proof-of-coverage.

The amount of Helium tokens to be earned also depend on the type of work that was performed.
Proof-of-Coverage(18%), network data transfer(32.5%), Witnesses(8.55%), Consensus group(6%) and Challengers(0.95%).

The current price of Helium tokens is about $0.85 with its all time low at about $0.25.

The price has an approximate return of 211.88% for those who had purchased this token at the time of its launch.

Some claimed that they earned around $50 after installing the miner for a week.

It sounded really tempting as we would simply need about 5 weeks to earn back our initial investment in purchasing a miner.

By simply logic, we may not earn as many as some since it depends on various factors like whether there are other hotspots installed around 300 m in our area as well as the type of work that our miners are doing.
